Plantar warts: treatment with effective methods

Almost everyone has experienced a disease such as warts. These growths are very common and cause a lot of inconvenience.

By their nature, warts represent formations on the skin or mucous membrane. The transmission of the disease is carried out by a virus. You can get warts in public places: bath, beach or pool.

Plantar warts, the treatment of which is very difficult, are one of the types of tumors that cause particular suffering to humans. They may arise from wearing uncomfortable tight shoes. When the skin experiences constant friction, a growth similar to a callus is formed, but upon closer examination it is possible to determine small points in its composition - clogged capillaries. This is the beginning of the formation of a wart. The growths on the legs may appear as a result of excessive sweating or dry skin. They arise both individually and in large quantities.

Plantar warts cause serious inconvenience, especially when appearing in the heel area. They make painful walking.

In rare cases, the disease goes away on its own. However, it is best if plantar warts appear, treatment should begin immediately.

There are physical and chemical methods of eradicating the disease, the choice of which depends on the age, size and depth of the growth.

An effective treatment is to treat the affected area with cold - cryotherapy. For this, liquefied gases are used to freeze the neoplasms that have appeared. This method is painless, bloodless, after it there are no scars.

Today, there are other innovative ways to help destroy plantar warts. Removal of neoplasms is performed using methods of electro- and laser-coagulation, cauterization with liquid nitrogen.

A very common and effective way is laser removal of warts. This is a painless fast process, the duration of which is two minutes. At the place of the growth there is a shallow trace, passing through a few weeks. You can be sure that in the future there will be no relapse, since infection is excluded from the wound, and the healing process will pass quickly and without pain.

A good method for cauterizing plantar warts is treatment with high-frequency current. Electrocoagulation is also effective, bloodless and prevents the spread of infection. A small crust appears on the site of the growth, which disappears after a week. The disadvantage of this method is that with a large wart, a shallow scar remains on the skin.

A popular method is cryodestruction, which also successfully removes plantar warts. Treatment consists in the use of liquid nitrogen. To do this, a special stick filled with gas wrapped in cotton wool is pressed against the growth on the foot or heel. As a result of the procedure, the next day when walking, pain appears, which soon passes. With the operation performed correctly, after two weeks there will be no trace of the disease. However, excessive cauterization may cause a scar.

In any case, only a qualified specialist should remove the plantar warts.

How to treat them with folk remedies? There are several recipes for removing warts with compresses from liquid soap, vinegar essence, celandine juice. They can also feature apple juice, garlic, and even lard. They all boil down to applying the described ingredients separately to the affected area for several days. Plantar warts should dry out or fall off on their own. However, in order not to harm yourself, if a disease occurs, it is better to consult a specialist.
