Michael Corner, like Harry Potter, went to Hogwarts School of Wizardry. He is a half-breed and therefore students of the Slytherin faculty do not like him, since one of his parents is not a wizard. When distributing the magic hat in the first year, Michael enters the Ravenclaw faculty, which suggests that knowledge and study are the main thing for him. Anthony Goldstein and Terry Booth became his friends and classmates. In the film, Michael has dark long hair to his shoulders. He is thin and rather tall. The character is not mentioned in the second and third parts of the Harry Potter movie, however, in the fourth episode of the picture, he reappears on television. In this part of the film, the famous Three Wizards Tournament takes place, where two participants perform at once from Hogwarts: Harry Potter from Gryffindor, and Cedric Diggory from the Hufflepuff department. The movie does not mention exactly who Corner is rooting for, but it’s clear that this is a Hogwarts student. In addition, in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Mike Corner meets Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister. This happened during the Holy Ball, which was held in honor of the tournament. In the fifth part of the movie Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Corner appears quite often. His relationship with Ginny Weasley continues to evolve, which Ron really does not like, but this does not bother his sister and Michael. The hero became one of the participants in the "Dumbledore Squad." At the first meeting of the group, Corner called Ginny, it was held in Hogsmeade in the tavern "Boar's Head." During this meeting, Harry, Ron and Hermione offered to organize a club for protection from the dark arts. Their teacher did not teach their students practice, although the guys really needed it. During this conversation, Michael Corner supported Harry, saying that he coped well with the first task of the Three Wizards Tournament. Michael joined Dumbledore’s Squad along with other Ravenclaw students: Anthony Goldstein, Terry Booth and Zhou Chang. Ginny and Corner trained together in Harry's classes, but the girl always won against Michael in battle. Their relationship ended after Gryffindor won the Quidditch match against Ravenclaw. In the sixth installment of Harry Potter, Michael Corner continues his studies at Hogwarts School. One of the items he chose is potions. Professor Horace Slughorn becomes the new teacher of this discipline. Michael has excellent potions and is therefore one of Slughorn's favorites. The film does not mention whether Michael was at Dumbledore's funeral, or whether he fought with the Death Eaters.

In the seventh episode of the movie, Neville Dolgopups mentions Michael in a conversation, saying that Corner was very brutally tortured when he tried to free freshmen from chains. Michael used the spell Cruzio, because of which a person feels terrible pain. However, this did not stop Michael, and he, along with many Hogwarts students, participated in the battle for school, and also helped Harry find the Candida Ravenclaw diadem.
