Musical Theater (Rostov) was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. His repertoire includes operas, ballets, operettas and children's musical performances. The troupe includes wonderful vocalists, ballet and choir artists, as well as musicians.
History
The Musical Theater (Rostov), whose building photo is presented in this article, was founded in 1919. And in 1931 he received the status of state. Initially, it was a musical comedy theater , and only operettas were included in the repertoire. He was one of the best in the USSR. Today, the repertoire of the Rostov musical theater includes ballets, musicals, operas, musical short stories, rock operas, operettas and symphony concerts. It combines the preservation of traditions with experiments in contemporary art. In 1999, the troupe moved to a new building. Hudruk
The artistic director of the theater is the musician Vyacheslav Kushchev. In 1970, he graduated from the Rostov State Conservatory named after Sergei Rachmaninov. In 1990 he became a candidate of philosophical sciences. The musical theater (Rostov) was headed by Vyacheslav Kushchev in 1999. Thanks to his leadership, the repertoire expanded. For several years, Vyacheslav managed to assemble a high-class troupe, created an opera and symphony orchestra. At the initiative of V. Kushchev, a children's choir was organized at the theater, and a choreographic department was opened at the Rostov Art School. Thanks to its leader, the troupe regularly goes on tour to other countries and has already managed to conquer the audience of Italy, Wales, the United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Portugal, England, Qatar, Germany, Scotland, Spain. V. Kushchev often invites to work on performances by outstanding artists (artists, musicians, etc.) from Russia, Europe and America.
In 2003, Vyacheslav Kushchev was recognized as the man of the year and awarded the Order of Merit to the Fatherland. In 2007 he was awarded the title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”.
