Liquids should be taken so that at the time of its evaporation the cereal is cooked.

Porridge in a slow cooker will perfectly cook according to the recipes offered in the instructions for the device. But following them strictly does not necessarily follow, the proportions of ordinary recipes are easily adapted to the multicooker. Having cooked porridge several times, you can adjust the softness of the cereal to your taste.

In a preheated oil, lay the diced pumpkin and lightly brown it, quickly mixing with a plastic or wooden spatula. The pumpkin will have a delicious aroma, you can proceed to the next stage of cooking.

Pumpkin goes well with cereals: millet, rice, small Artek type wheat. On the prepared layer of pumpkin, pour the cereal and pour everything with milk. The proportions are approximately the following: 500 g of pumpkin, 100 g of cereal, 2-2.5 cups of milk. The amount of milk depends on what viscosity the porridge needs at the exit. The indicated volume gives a porridge of medium viscosity.

Pumpkin porridge is cooked in the Milk porridge multicooker mode. The set time is 40-45 minutes. Approximately in the middle of cooking, you can add additional ingredients: 100 g of sugar, 100-150 g of raisins, 1-2 peeled and cut apple slices. Additional flavors in the form of vanillin or cinnamon are also acceptable, here you need to focus on your own taste preferences.
