A person gets used to semolina from childhood. This product, made from wheat grains, can be considered ideal for eating not only babies, but also adults. Many tasty and healthy dishes are prepared from it, such as cereals, meatballs, pancakes and casseroles. Also, interesting recipes are known for making a very delicious cake with semolina.
Tender cake
The number of recipes for baking muffins is simply amazing. One of the most interesting and at the same time simple options is a cupcake with decoy. Its preparation, as a rule, does not take much time.
And for work, you may need the following ingredients: a glass of semolina contains as much sour cream (20%) and sugar, one and a half glasses of wheat flour, 3 chicken eggs and a bag of baking powder.
A cake with semolina is usually prepared as follows:
- First, in a separate bowl, pour the cereal.
- Then pour it with sour cream, mix and leave for about 60 minutes. During this time, semolina will swell a little.
- Grind the eggs well with sugar and add them to the prepared cereal.
- Add flour with baking powder and make the final batch.
- Pour the dough into an oiled pan and send to the oven for baking. The temperature there should be 175 degrees.
After 50 minutes, the cupcake with semolina will be ready. It can be taken out of the oven and decorated as desired.
Simplest option
I must say that for the preparation of pies, they often use the simplest fermented milk product. That is why in most cases a cupcake is made with semolina and kefir.
The set of products in this case also changes a little: for a glass of sugar you need to take 2 raw eggs, one and a half glasses of semolina and kefir, as well as half a pack (100 grams) of butter.
In this case, the process technology will be as follows:
- First, you need to add a pinch of salt in kefir, and then pour semolina and leave for 30 minutes.
- Soften the oil slightly, and then grind it with sugar.
- Beat eggs separately in lush foam.
- Combine them with the oil mixture.
- Semi-finished products to collect in one dish and knead a little liquid dough.
- Put it in the form and send it to the oven for 50-60 minutes. The temperature is better to set 160 degrees.
If you want to make an unusual cake with semolina and kefir, you can put several pieces of selected fruits on its surface a few minutes before the end of baking. For the standard version, just sprinkle it with powder.
Diet product
It turns out that it is not necessary to have eggs at home to prepare delicious cupcakes with semolina. Recipes for this option are very different.
For example, you can take the simplest composition: for 125 grams of butter or margarine, one glass of flour, sugar, semolina and kefir, as well as a teaspoon of soda (slaked vinegar) and 100 grams of raisins.
The procedure in this case will be as follows:
- First, as usual, the semolina should be filled with kefir and leave it to soak for half an hour.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except dried fruits) and gently knead a homogeneous dough.
- Introduce raisins and evenly distribute them throughout the mass.
- Fill the molds with the mixture and send them to the oven. The temperature can be made bigger. 200 degrees will be enough.
For baking special small tins, it will take only 30 minutes, and for a large volume - at least 40. In any case, it is better to check the readiness with a toothpick by piercing the crust closer to the center.
With chocolate
Culinary experts say that cupcakes on semolina and kefir are the most fertile option for experiments. The cooked dough rises and bakes well. In addition, you can use all sorts of flavoring additives. Take chocolate, for example. To prepare an unusual treat you will need:
two cups of kefir (or sour milk), half a glass of sugar and semolina, 1 egg, 100 grams of margarine, 12 grams of soda, a glass of flour, a little vanilla and 50 grams of cocoa.
The cooking method in this case is slightly different:
- Dilute semolina in half the amount of kefir and leave for half a day (12 hours).
- After time, add sugar, egg and vanilla to it.
- In the remaining kefir, pour soda and leave for 30 minutes.
- After it begins to bubble, introduce melted margarine and cocoa. Mix well.
- Combine both mixtures and add flour. The dough will turn out to be a pleasant chocolate color.
- Pour it into silicone molds and put in the oven for 20 minutes.
Ready-made cupcakes for sweets lovers will be a pleasant addition to tea.
