Biography
Alexander Titov in 1977 played in a group together with Alexander Lyapin and Mikhail Malin. In 1979, having received an invitation from Yuri Ilchenko, who was the guitarist of the Myths band, he joined the Earthlings band. From 1982 to 1983 he was a member of Augustus.
In 1983, Dyusha Romanov, a musician of the Aquarium group, suggested that Alexander visit the recording of Radio Africa. The work was carried out in a mobile recording studio "Melody". Then the bassist of the Aquarium band Mikhail Fainshtein-Vasiliev was absent. During the recording of the mentioned album, Alexander played bass for the song “Moon Time”. Titov is the only musician on the Aquarium who participated in work on Boris Grebenshchikov's English-language album, Radio Silence.
