How to make a pie from the liver?

Some housewives have no idea what can be prepared from the liver. The list of dishes is quite impressive. One of the leading places in it is pie from the liver. The recipe for its preparation is not very complicated, and even a novice cook can do it.

For the next recipe, you need half a kilogram of beef liver. Rinse it very well and remove the films. Then we cut it into pieces and pass through a meat grinder. In the resulting mass, add two raw chicken eggs. Then pour about 100 ml of milk. The resulting mass is very thoroughly mixed. Salt to taste. Also, optionally add ground black pepper. Next, proceed to the formation of the cake. We take a pancake from the liver and lay out part of the filling on it. Then we cover it with another pancake, and again lay the filling on top. We do this operation layer by layer. Pour the liver pie on top with mayonnaise and send it to the oven. Cooking time is 15 minutes, provided that the oven has been preheated.

You can make a chicken liver pie . This dish turns out useful and not very high-calorie. To prepare it, you will need about 800 grams of chicken liver. Grind it with a meat grinder or blender. There we add two cloves of garlic. After the mass becomes homogeneous, you need to drive two chicken eggs into it. We mix everything very carefully. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Then pour half a glass of flour. Mix the cooked mass again. Now bake pancakes in a pan. Try to make them as thin as possible. The baking technology is the same as for ordinary pancakes. We fry on the one hand. And then turn over to the other side.

Cooking the filling. We use grated carrots and chopped onions. Fry them in a pan, and then add herbs, salt and a small amount of water. Stew for five minutes. Separately, mix sour cream and garlic squeezed through a press. We spread the filling on the liver cakes and grease the sour cream with garlic on top. So repeat layer by layer. Lubricate with sour cream and garlic sauce.

Pie from the liver can be prepared using pork, beef, chicken or any other offal. The technology of preparation does not depend on the type of liver. Everything is decided by your tastes.
