After Ekaterina Savinova starred in the film "Kuban Cossacks" in 1949, all the doors to the cinema were closed in front of her. The actress passed the test, she was approved for the role, and then they refused her. This was facilitated by the head of "Mosfilm" Ivan Pyryev. He had a personal interest in Catherine, but was refused his claim, for which he took revenge.
Frosia Burlakova - the only main role of the artist. She brought her fame. Ivan Pyryev in every way prevented the film from taking place. During the filming, the actress began to have health problems. It was later revealed that she was sick with brucellosis. Since the diagnosis was made late, the disease gave complications to the brain. Catherine was forced to spend several months in the hospital. In 1970, Catherine went to Novosibirsk with her sister.
