Childhood and study
The future Soviet and Russian film and dubbing actor was born at the end of September (28th) in 1957 in the glorious city of Rostov-on-Don. His childhood was as ordinary and cheerful as many Soviet children. At school, he was very fond of history. He was read by various reference books and historical opuses.
Upon graduation, he enters the history department of one of the universities in his native city. But after some time, the future historian decides to radically change his life path. Igor Taradaykin enters VGIK (course of Sergei Gerasimov), whose diploma he received in 1980.
The beginning of an acting career
Igor Georgievich begins acting in films since 1981. His debut on the set was the film "Vasily and Vasilisa", which was shot at the Dovzhenko film studio. Then there was the film "Forget-Me-Nots" (the last movie by Kulidzhanov). Igor Taradaykin (films with his participation, the audience always enthusiastically accepted) also collaborated with the Odessa film studio. Leonid Ivakin - a true Soviet military
In 1988, he was involved in the film “Sunday. Half past six". This is another story about the adventures of the already grown Krosh - remember the stories of gathering netsuke, and the unknown soldier? Now Seryozha (Krosh) is a trainee at the prosecutor’s office, he is dealing with the death of a girl who was found on the road. Under suspicion was a group of teenagers resting nearby. A few days later, they were summoned from the prosecutor's office to talk. Rita Ivakina was a member of this company. Actor Igor Taradaykin played in this film the role of her older brother - the military, Leonid Ivakin.

Parents called for the help of their eldest son when calls began to be heard from the police and prosecutors in the apartment about the tragedy. Taradaykin portrayed in this role a real man and a loving, caring son and brother. While the parents were still trying to somehow defend their bad 15-year-old daughter, Leonid immediately suggested flogging her, “so that it would be disgraceful”. He recalled how old parents tried all their lives to provide their children with a decent life, how much they did for especially the youngest child, Rita, because she, as my mother always said, is a weak girl and she needs help so that she can feel better later in life . He recalled how he defended his parents when Rita, in the heat of a quarrel, trying to prove to them that she had nothing to do with her, called them "boring amoebas."
But with all the severity of his sister, he still remained a loving and worried about her older brother. And then, accompanying her to the prosecutor’s office for a conversation, he tried to protect her from some (as it seemed to him) Sergey’s attacks. In general, the role of Leonid Ivakin showed a strong man not only physically, but also mentally, on whose shoulder you can lean and hope that he will always protect his family.
