Colon dyskinesia

Today, one of the most common diseases of the internal organs, in particular the digestive system, is considered a functional intestinal upset. According to statistics, more than fifty percent of such ailments are associated precisely with diseases of the colon and stomach. It is worth noting that in such a situation, most often we are talking about violations of the motor function of this organ. At the same time, there are absolutely no organic changes. As for the causes of these processes, this is, first of all, dyskinesia of the colon of both exogenous and endogenous type.

If we talk about the development of the disease, then special attention should be paid to the following factors. Constipation, endocrine and metabolic disorders, vegetative dystonia, hereditary burden in general, acute infections that were transmitted during infancy, food error and allergies, transfer to artificial nutrition, medications, cracks, hemorrhoids - all this contributes to impaired colon function.

Colon dyskinesia is most often observed in people who suffer from other diseases of the digestive tract, endocrine ailments. The development of such an unpleasant disease is influenced by such factors as disorders of the spinal and central innervation, stressful effects, the use of certain drugs, psychoemotional disorders, an increase or decrease in the speed with which its contents move through the intestines, and much more.

Colon dyskinesia is divided into two main types. We are talking about hypotension and hypertensive type of dyskinesia. Most often, the main symptom of this disease is symptoms such as a sharp pain in the abdomen and a disturbance in the rhythm of the bowel movement. In a healthy person, this frequency is variable. For example, you should not evaluate a two-day delay in stool as constipation if there are no signs such as abdominal pain. If we are talking about the hypertensive type of the disease, then the pain in this case will spread in the lower lateral and lower parts of your abdomen. In addition, they will have a cramping nature. These pains are most often associated with the act of defecation. Therefore, such sensations will cease to bother a person after he empty his intestines.

As for the hypertonic type of the disease called "colon dyskinesia", it should be said that this type of disease is characterized, first of all, by progressive persistent constipation. For example, after prolonged constipation, the stool often leaves in small volumes. In addition, it often has a slightly liquefied consistency. Subsequently, a sick person has an expansion of the distant intestinal tract. As a result, the tone of the so-called anal sphincter is also weakened, there is an incontinence of the contents of the intestine, that is, feces. As for pain with this type of disease, they, as a rule, are not permanent. With prolonged constipation, a person experiences a feeling of fullness.

This ailment is usually divided into another group. Depending on the state of the motor function of this area, one can observe the prevalence of incomplete and insufficient emptying of the intestine itself - this is hypomotor dyskinesia of the colon; and the prevalence of emptying too quickly, that is, hypermotor disease.

Colon adenocarcinoma, or, as they say, colon cancer, often becomes a consequence of an advanced disease of this organ. That is why dyskinesia is an occasion to contact a specialist, to conduct appropriate treatment, even if at this moment you rarely worry about pain and discomfort in the stomach.

The disease is diagnosed when examining a patient as a result of an instrumental examination method. In addition, sigmoscopy, or, for example, sigmoidoscopy, makes it easy enough to assess the tone of the intestine and the condition of its mucosa. As for the special treatment of dyskinesia, it consists, first of all, in following a special diet. The medications necessary for a quick recovery can only be prescribed by your doctor. Do not self-medicate in such a situation.
