The medicine has a wide spectrum of antiprotozoal activity. The agent acts on the causative agents of pyroplasmosis, babesiosis, trypanosomiasis, nuttalliosis, and theileriosis. The mechanism of activity is based on the ability of the active substance to slow down aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis of blood parasites. This provokes the destruction of the cellular structure and the death of pathogens. After administration of a parenteral therapeutic concentration, the active component reaches after three or five hours and persists throughout the day. The accumulation of the drug occurs mainly in the liver and kidneys. Excretion - with urine, in nursing animals - partially with milk. In therapeutic dosages, it does not have a sensitizing, locally irritating, embryotoxic and teratogenic effect.

The medicine is prescribed for mixed invasions, nuttalliosis, francaiellosis, teileriosis, babesiosis as a treatment and prevention. For therapeutic purposes, the introduction is carried out intramuscularly once. Dosage - milliliter per twenty kilograms of animal weight. If after the first administration a decrease in temperature and amelioration of the condition is not observed in the animal, repeated injection after a day is permissible. For dogs, a dosage of half a milligram per ten kilograms of weight, divided into two doses, is recommended. The interval between administrations is an hour or two. In combination with the drug "Neosidine", the instruction recommends the use of antihistamines. In the case of a dosage of more than ten milliliters, injections are carried out in different parts of the body. A sick animal is given rest. Additionally, in accordance with the condition, microelements, vitamins, laxatives, cardiac agents can be prescribed. As a prophylaxis, the drug is administered once at a therapeutic dosage.
