INVITRO is a large diagnostic company that includes about five hundred medical offices located in the CIS (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan). In this independent laboratory, research in many areas is possible, including a spermogram. INVITRO uses only sophisticated automatic analyzers produced by leading manufacturers of laboratory equipment. The company constantly monitors its quality and guarantees the accuracy of the results at the shortest time possible to complete the study (in most cases, a day after delivery of the biomaterial). In addition, there is the possibility of performing urgent studies (four hours). The results are optionally sent by mail (electronic), or given in the office of INVITRO. Spermogram is one of the studies that can be done here. Read the requirements and conditions below.
The basics
The INVITRO serogram allows you to diagnose (confirm or refute) infertility in the male genital area. The analysis of ejaculate determines the morphological composition of sperm (both quantitative and qualitative). The work practices visual counting (Goryachev's camera) and special coloring.
The spermogram, INVITRO conducted, examines: volume, dilution rate, color, viscosity, pH (physiological parameters), quantitative characteristics (sperm count in both the entire ejaculate and 1 ml) and motility, morphology (content of forms, normal and pathological), the presence of spermatogenesis cells, agglutination, white blood cells, mucus, red blood cells, etc.
To assess sperm fertility, all indicators will be taken into account at once, since individual parameters cannot give a correct and voluminous answer.
The indicators of the same man can fluctuate significantly, therefore, for the assessment of sperm, certain indicators were taken, obtained by studying subfertile patients and taken as normal. However, it should be understood that these basics are not minimally necessary. Men with lower rates may well be fertile.
If infertility is diagnosed, the spermogram will need to be retaken again. To find out the causes of the resulting pathology, you should contact the andrologist.
Sample Requirements
Material surrendering for research is collected only by masturbation. It is not allowed prolonged abstinence (up to seven days), taking alcohol or drugs, visiting saunas and baths. UHF exposure is highly undesirable. Repeated spermogram "INVITRO" requires the same periods of abstinence (which will reduce the fluctuations in the results).
Collection rules
Material is taken for analysis only by appointment.
Sperm collection is carried out in a special container (sterile), which is obtained in the laboratory.
The use of condoms for these purposes is prohibited (otherwise the INVITRO spermogram does not guarantee the accuracy of the results).
The surname, exact time and date of receipt of the ejaculate submitted for analysis (in-vitro) is indicated on the container.
Allowable minimum temperature during transportation +20 ° C, maximum +40 ° C.
Immediately after masturbation, it is necessary to collect urine and also deliver it for analysis.
