They broke into KVN with sparkling humor balancing on the verge of foul back in 2000, and since then the team “Burnt by the Sun” is unknown, perhaps, only to the baby. But few people now remember that the first captain of the team, two years later, left it under circumstances not clarified to the public, was Ruslan Khachmamuk.

A couple of Maslyakovs, Ruslan Khachmamuk recalled, allowed themselves to “kill” an interesting, already rehearsed program without any explanation, and the teams had to redo the script in a matter of days. Therefore, for all their wit, students had a constant lack of jokes, and they had to buy them. Already then, as the former captain claimed, there were currency rates in KVN: $ 20-25 was a good joke, $ 300 was a good song. Most expensive was the number, pulling the title of "highlight of the program" - about 500 dollars.
Alexander Maslyakov answered the press with these accusations that during one of the speeches “Burnt by the Sun” a plus-phonogram was used. In addition, according to him, Ruslan Khachmamuk was involved in riding in the minor leagues and stealing jokes.

Quite sound material (which is confirmed by the few records of those years), as well as a number of other circumstances, among which the patronage of the organizing committee, which undoubtedly played an important role, allowed the team to reach the final in 2000 and 2001, to win the “Small KiViNa ”,“ KiViNa in black ”. And also earn the scandalous glory of the team, stealing other people's jokes.
The President of the KVN MC Aleksandr Maslyakov, commenting on “revealing interviews” of the former captain of “Burnt by the Sun”, noted that as a result of the team’s activities, two Decrees of the President of the KVN MS were issued: “On prohibition of plus phonograms” and “On copyright protection”.
One of their fans will say: “But there were two teams“ Burnt by the Sun ”...” So yes.
The second birth took place - in 2002, after a series of changes in the composition of the group, the most important of which was the disappearance of the first captain, and the appearance of new faces. We must pay tribute to Galustyan and the new team: “Burnt by the Sun” -2 (champion of the Major League in 2003, summer cups in 2004, 2005, 2009) surpassed their predecessors!
But nothing passes without a trace. The scandal, no matter who is its culprit, great tarnishes the reputation of all participants.
