- The medicine "Dexalgin" in the form of tablets is prescribed every 4 or 6 hours in 1/2 pieces (or 12.5 mg). The frequency of admission can be from 1 to 6 times a day. The following method is also provided: take every 8 hours on the first tablet, or 25 mg, but not more than three times a day. The daily dosage of this remedy should be about 75 mg (i.e. 3 tablets). For those patients who have abnormalities in the functioning of the liver and kidneys, as well as for the elderly, the mentioned dose should not be higher than 50 mg.
- Dexalgin solution (ampoules in the amount of 5 pieces can be purchased for 350-380 Russian rubles) is administered intramuscularly or intravenously in especially severe cases.
