To make pies, absolutely any dough is suitable - yeast, shortbread, puff or fresh. The simplest recipe is probably potato pie, which is perfect for both a regular dinner and treating guests. You can cook it quite quickly and simply. For the filling, you can use not only one potato, but also optionally add other products to it. I suggest trying out some simple recipes for making pies with potatoes.
Chicken and Potato Pie
We need: a small chicken or legs, six medium potatoes, two onions.
For the test: one glass of kefir, two tablespoons of sunflower oil, two eggs, flour, a pinch of soda, salt.
To make a pie with chicken and potatoes, we need an hour and a half. First, let's take a test. Beat eggs, pour a glass of kefir, add soda, sunflower oil and salt. Knead the dough so that it rolls well. Cover it with a towel and leave it for a while.
Now prepare the minced meat. Remove the meat from the bones and cut into cubes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Onion thinly shred in half rings. Mix everything, salt and a little pepper.
We divide the dough into two different parts. Roll out the bigger part, put it on a baking sheet and spread the filling on top. We roll out the remaining dough and close the filling with it. Pinch the edges of the pie well, make a small hole for the steam in the center, pour a couple of spoons of water and add a piece of butter.
Put the chicken and potato pie in the oven and bake for about an hour until a brown crust forms.
You can serve it with sweet tea or broth. Pie with chicken and potatoes can be served both hot and cooled. In any case, it will be very tasty!
Pie with minced meat and potatoes
Necessary products for the test: three glasses of flour, a packet of margarine, two tablespoons of baking powder, a glass of kefir and salt.
Products for filling: half a kilogram of minced meat, onion head, four medium potatoes, two cloves of garlic, a little vegetable oil, pepper, salt.
Preparation: first of all, knead the dough for the pie. To do this, take a large cup, sift the flour, add the baking powder, add salt and mix.
Grind previously frozen margarine on a grater and knead with hands with flour. Pour kefir slowly and knead the dough, it should be sticky enough. Roll the dough into a bun and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.
To prepare the filling, we need to fry the minced meat in vegetable oil, pepper and add salt to taste. Finely chop the onions and add to the minced meat. After a while, put finely chopped garlic. Leave the minced meat to cool. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Lubricate the cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour. Cut the chilled dough into two unequal parts. We roll that part, which is larger, into a cake and put it in a mold. Spread the minced meat and potato slices evenly on top. We cover the pie with a second cake, we fasten the edges and in the middle we make a hole into which we pour a little broth. We coat the surface of the pie with an egg and put in the oven for an hour. After that we take out and serve to the table.
Potato pie
We will need: a glass of water, two glasses of rye flour, four tablespoons of vegetable oil, seven medium potatoes, three onions, salt.
Preparation: knead not very steep dough, roll out a centimeter thick cake and spread it on a greased baking sheet. We pierce the pellet in several places. Boil the potatoes, crush it and add the fried onions. We lay out this filling on a cake, wrap the edges of the dough, combine them, grease them with oil and put in the oven to bake.
