A delicious birthday cake should not be extremely complicated and require several days at the stove.
Even if you like fancy figured pastries, anyway, sometimes before the celebration, when it is full of other worries, there is a desire to build the dough from several simple ingredients without any effort. In this case, you need a good proven recipe so that a delicious birthday cake does not take a large amount of your time. But still it became a worthy treat for loved ones.
Simple and delicious birthday cake
Similar recipes resemble notes in old notebooks. In the very ones in which the preparation of cream, cakes, the process of making roses and decorating with fresh berries are meticulously detailed. According to this recipe, you can make the perfect birthday cake for a child. At some stages, you can even attract a boy or a girl of school age to help mom - this will give him additional pleasant impressions and will make him feel significant.
Cakes are baked on cream fresh (this is an analogue of sour cream, a little later we will explain in detail what is meant).
The dough is kind of partly biscuit, partly shortbread. This delicious birthday cake needs to be baked in advance, per day, then it will have time to soak. For cream, take any fresh berries. But it is better that they secrete less juice. Decorations in the form of donuts ("donuts") can be made from jelly, chocolate and pistachio ganache (chocolate cream), milk or white chocolate.
How to make cream fresh
Heat two cups of cream of maximum fat content and, pouring into a clean jar, mix with two tablespoons of fresh kefir. After cooling, close the lid and incubate for 24 hours at room temperature. Stir and refrigerate.
Cake baking
Beat 6 eggs with a glass of sugar for ten minutes, add the softened butter (four hundred grams) and a glass of cream-fresh cream in pieces. Sift flour (3 cups) and 1 cup starch with baking powder into this mixture.
Mix with a spatula. Be prepared for the dough to be very thick. Bake it on two baking sheets (it is better if you give the cake a rectangular shape) for twenty five minutes. For cream, finely chop 1/2 kg of fresh strawberries (you do not need to grind it, otherwise an abundance of juice will ruin the cake), mix with the same amount of mascarpone and a glass of powdered sugar. Be careful not to crush pieces of berries. Stir in a glass of fresh cream.
Cake assembly
Spread the cakes so that another 100 grams of cream is left. Place the cake and leftovers in the refrigerator. In the morning, make cream sides on the top cake. From the scraps of dough, form donuts ("donuts"), cover them with chocolate. You can specially bake a few circles from the dough for bagels. Better to make them colorful. You can also add dyes to the cream in advance. For example, a pink cake for a girl’s birthday will look very good. Ganache for decoration is made of chocolate, cream, pistachio paste and butter (with the addition of gelatin to maintain shape).
