Horseradish Chicken Salad
A fairly simple salad will be a great addition to a modest family feast. If your family is thoroughly fed up with the olivier and the familiar βfur coatβ, then this salad of smoked chicken breasts will be an equally tasty alternative. You can cook horseradish yourself or take it ready. A home-made product, of course, is preferable, as it is more fragrant and vigorous. For salad, take:
- a couple of carrots;
- smoked breast of one chicken;
- five eggs;
- onion;
- five small potato tubers;
- mayonnaise.
The main cooking time is spent on boiling eggs and vegetables. We start to cook:
- Dice the onions and marinate in a solution of vinegar with sugar, cloves and bay leaf for a couple of hours.
- Cut the potatoes into cubes, rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
- Grind the breast into small cubes.
- Cover the bottom of a flat dish with a thin layer of horseradish.
- Spread smoked breast salad in layers: potato - mayonnaise - breast - onion - carrot - mayonnaise - grated eggs.
Salad "Viva, Italy!"
Wonderful light salad for a festive feast. For the dietary version of the dish, instead of smoked one should take boiled breast, and as dressing - oil diluted with lemon juice. Prepare:
- breast of one chicken;
- five eggs;
- cheese (hard variety, about 100 g);
- thin skin cucumber;
- bulb (purple);
- vinegar (ideal - apple).
Italian step-by-step salad preparation:
- Half the onion marinate for half an hour.
- Peel hard-boiled eggs.
- Cut them together with chicken and cucumber with thin strips.
- Grind the cheese on a grater (coarse).
- Gently mix all ingredients and season with mayonnaise.
- Transfer the salad from smoked breasts to a salad bowl, arrange as you wish.
Chicken Salad with Pineapple and Pecan
Want to surprise guests? Such an original, with a refreshing taste, smoked breast salad will be remembered for a long time. You can, of course, take walnuts, but the dish with pecans will be more refined and unique. You will need the following products:
- a pound of breasts;
- green bell pepper;
- half a glass of nuts;
- a couple of celery stalks;
- a can of pineapples;
- a small lemon;
- green onions (a small bunch);
- mayonnaise.
We begin to prepare a delicious salad:
- Cut the breast into thin slices.
- Drain the pineapples, cut into cubes.
- Cut celery stalks and onion feathers across into small plates.
- Grind lightly toasted pecans.
- Green fleshy pepper cut into cubes.
- Combine all products, salt, pepper and mix gently. Sprinkle salad with squeezed lemon juice, season with mayonnaise. Top with smoked breast salad to decorate with basil and parsley sprigs. Cover the salad bowl with foil, let stand for half an hour in a cool place, ideally in the refrigerator.
