In the Soviet Union there was no abundance of television channels and especially children's programs. Hearing a foreign language on TV was possible only in feature films about the war and training programs. Therefore, the program āChildren's Hourā was watched with pleasure even by adults.
āChildren's Hourā is a telecast for children and parents, it contains instructive educational moments, exciting cartoon stories, and foreign language lessons. She also encourages children to prepare delicious dishes, to be active members of the family and society.
Soviet television launched this project in the late 80s. For several years, the program was shown on the first channel of central television. The program āChildren's Hourā in 1990 began to appear on the 4th general educational channel, and from 2007 to 2015 it was broadcast on the VKT television channel.

- āBremen Town Musiciansā - a cartoon musical in which a young troubadour with his friends: a cat, a donkey, a rooster and a dog - come to a performance in the royal castle. The young man and the princess fall in love with each other, but the king separates the lovers and exposes the artists from the castle. After various adventures, musicians save the royal family from robbers and become friends of the king, and the princess reunites with her beloved.
- āDoctor Aibolitā is a cartoon about a good and disinterested doctor with an interesting surname Aibolit. He treats all animals, fights with cruel villains who specially poisoned the inhabitants of the forest. But good wins, and Dr. Aibolit saves all the little animals.
- āBaby and Carlsonā is a cartoon about a boy who was bored alone, until one day a little cheerful man with a propeller on his back flew up to his open window. āI'm Carlson, who lives on the roof,ā he introduced himself. The Kid didnāt get bored anymore - Carlson made friends with him and taught him cheerful worldly wisdom.

It is unfortunate, but Sergei Stolyarov and his son Kirill were struck by a serious illness - lymphosarcoma.
After Sergei Jr. found out about the illness of his grandfather and father, he plunged headlong into his favorite work, devoting himself to children.
