It is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, arthritis, myalgia, arthralgia, bursitis, tendonitis, algodismenorrhea, to alleviate postoperative and post-traumatic pains, toothache and headaches, fevers of various origins. It is available in the form of tablets having a white color with a yellowish tinge, and a gel (transparent light yellow or yellow) for external use. The tablets have a round, biconvex shape and smooth surface. Only 100 mg of nimesulide contains 1 tablet of the Nise drug. The instruction lists the excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, purified talc, colloidal anhydrous silicon. 1 g of 1% gel contains 10 mg of nimesulide. Excipients of the gel are: propylene glycol, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, macrogol, carbomer 940, isopropanol, butylhydroxyanisole, potassium phosphate, thimerosal, water, flavoring.
