If you are just starting to learn how to cook with this versatile appliance, we recommend starting with the simplest recipes to gain practical skills. For example, try baking an omelet in an air grill.

This dish can be prepared only from eggs and milk or made with various additives - vegetables, mushrooms, ham or cheese. If we add vegetables or mushrooms to the omelet, then they need to be finely chopped and fried a little. Ham or sausage should be cut into small cubes, and cheese - grated. Now we begin to prepare the basis of the omelet. Beat eggs (two to three pieces per serving) and add salt to taste and milk or cream (two tablespoons of milk per egg).

We take the form and grease it lightly with oil. We spread the prepared filling and pour the egg mixture. It is better to cook an omelet at a low temperature (120-150 degrees) and an average speed of blowing. The baking time is 10-20 minutes, you don’t need to turn over the omelet, it will bake so well.

As already mentioned, baking in an air grill has its own characteristics. So, when preparing products from yeast dough, they should be greased with egg or oil on top. When cooking buns and other small items, the mass of which does not exceed one hundred grams, the baking time will be 10-15 minutes, the temperature should be set at 220-260 degrees. But large products need to be baked at a lower temperature (200-210 degrees), and the baking time should be increased depending on the size of the product from 25 to 50 minutes.

Here, for example, is how to make pies in an air grill. You can use the dough in-store or make it according to your own recipe. We also take any filling - cabbage, boiled meat, potatoes, cottage cheese. We make the pies in the usual way, then put them on the greased middle grill of the air grill, which by this time should already be warmed up. The distance between adjacent products must be at least three centimeters. We turn on the thermostat to the mark of 65 degrees, and the fan to the low level of speed, leave the pies for proofing for twenty-five minutes. Then grease the top of the products with a beaten egg and bake them at a temperature of 225 degrees and a high fan speed for another twenty or twenty five minutes. Patties should acquire a delicious golden crust.

Products from puff pastry are baked at a temperature of 210-240 degrees, but shortcrust pastries need to be cooked at a lower temperature (190-200). The most difficult pastry in the air grill is a biscuit. Before pouring the dough into molds, they need to be greased with oil and wiped with flour. Put the form with biscuit dough only in a hot air grill. And remember that the biscuit rises a lot, so do not fill out the forms more than half. Bake a biscuit dough at a temperature of 190-200 degrees for 30-60 minutes.
