From canned tuna you can cook a lot of delicious dishes, starting with a variety of salads and ending with savory snack cakes. This fish is rich in essential fatty acids, protein, magnesium and phosphorus.
If you take
canned tuna in your own juice, and not in oil, then you can reduce the calorie content of salads and adapt dishes from it to a diet for weight loss. Buy a few cans of canned food and start experimenting in the kitchen.
Canned Tuna Salad. Two options
First, we give a more complicated (due to the large number of ingredients) recipe. For it, you will need two hundred grams of fresh or freshly frozen asparagus beans, one cucumber, one bell pepper, onion, two hundred grams of cherry tomatoes (or ordinary), a dozen quail eggs, olives to taste, a can of canned tuna. Dressing can be prepared from olive oil, wine vinegar, lemon juice, mustard.
Or you can take your favorite mayonnaise. Thaw defrosted beans with boiling water, dry. Cut cucumbers, tomatoes, paprika. Boil quail eggs (no more than one and a half minutes in boiling water), peel, cool and cut in half. Put olives (you can take capers instead) in whole salad. Cut the onions with feathers. Put all the ingredients in a large container, add a can of tuna. Mix seasoning products and fill them with salad. Instead of
asparagus beans, you can take Chinese cabbage.
To surprise guests, you can cook avocado boats stuffed with tuna salad. Take one ripe tropical fruit, one canned Mexican or bean mixture, lemon juice, a small onion, a can of tuna, Tabasco sauce and freshly ground pepper. Cut the avocado in half, remove the middle, mash with a fork on a plate. Add beans, canned tuna (photos depict several options for serving this salad), chopped onions. Pour in lemon juice and salt. Fill a mixture of avocado boats. Sprinkle tabasco and serve.
Spaghetti with cheese and tuna
Boil pasta, put on a plate, add fish in its own juice, blue cheese and olives to taste. You can prepare the sauce separately. Heat the cream, add the grated cheese to them and wait until it melts. Pour the sauce on a plate of spaghetti with tuna and olives. This dish is preferably only freshly prepared.
Canned Tuna Snack Pie
You can cook this product from chopped dough. And you can replace it with a semi-finished product and take a puff. Put it in a form (sprinkled with breadcrumbs or semolina) with low sides, leaving a little for decoration. Prepare a filling of two raw eggs, two cans of canned tuna, two hundred grams of cheese, a handful of chopped green onions, half a glass of milk and the same amount of mayonnaise. Squeeze the fish from juice or oil. Put the filling on the dough, cover with strips of dough for decoration and bake for forty minutes in a preheated oven until golden top.
