Love comedies are films of a special genre, lyrical and sincere. Each director considers it his duty to shoot at least a few films in the style of a romantic comedy, since with rare exceptions, such a film is guaranteed success.

The film was directed by the famous director Leonid Gaidai, whose assets already had a number of comedies at that time. The film was originally called Shurik in the Mountains, but was later renamed Prisoner of the Caucasus. The plot focuses on a student of the ethnographic faculty named Shurik, a collector of folklore who came to the Caucasus for legends, fairy tales and toasts. However, he did not take into account that the toasts are necessarily accompanied by a drink.
On the same days and in the same village, a girl, Nina, a student at the Pedagogical Institute, came to her relatives for summer vacations. The beauty, athlete, Komsomol member, Nina really liked the local leader, Comrade Saakhov. He decided to marry her. The film tells about what came of it.
"Three plus two"
Another romantic comedy was shot in 1963 by director Heinrich Hovhannisyan based on the story by Sergey Mikhalkov "Savages".
Three young people, a veterinarian Roman, a diplomat-trainee Vadim and a physicist Stepan Ivanovich Sundukov, arrived by car "Volga" on the wild coast of Crimea to relax. Friends pitched a tent, lit a fire. And suddenly it turned out that the place where they were located was already taken.
Two beautiful girls came to Zaporozhets and said that they had been resting for several years here.
"How to steal a million"
A film in which the most bizarre way intertwined love and crime. Simon Dermot (Peter O'Toole) and Nicole (Audrey Hepburn) started the abduction of a valuable, but fake sculpture from the Paris Lafayette Museum. How this ended, it is not difficult to guess, of course, with love. The figurine was stolen - and justice triumphed.

However, he did not have to choose, fate decreed otherwise. Another letter was written by a journalist named Annie. She invites Sam to meet on the roof of the New York Empire State Building on Valentine's Day, at sunset.
The meeting was destined for fate, and it took place, although it almost fell through for a number of reasons. In the role of Sam, the popular actor Tom Hanks, in the image of Annie, actress Meg Ryan.
"Roman holiday"
The film tells about the adventures of Princess Anne, who escaped from custody and went on a journey through Rome at night.
