A familiar and already quite ordinary dish, such as pasta, has long ceased to be something unusual or exquisite. Often they are prepared in cases where there is no time for something more serious. But even in this product you can breathe new life. For example, cooking spaghetti in chicken sauce.
Spaghetti with Chicken and Cream Sauce
List of required products:
- Spaghetti - five hundred grams.
- Chicken fillet - two pieces.
- Hard cheese - one hundred grams.
- Bacon - one hundred grams.
- Wheat flour - a tablespoon.
- Onions - two small heads.
- Garlic - two cloves.
- Cream 20% fat - six hundred milliliters.
- Fresh basil - a bunch.
- Ground pepper - a third of a teaspoon.
- Vegetable oil - six tablespoons.
- Salt is a dessert spoon.
Step by step recipe
Chicken spaghetti - this is the dish that is suitable for both lunch and dinner. In addition, the time for cooking it will not take so much. Before you start preparing all the ingredients for spaghetti with chicken, you first need to boil water. This requires a large six-liter pan. Fill it with tap water and place on high heat.
While the water is boiling, you need to wash the chicken fillet, separate it from the skin and cut into small pieces. Cut all slices of bacon into medium-sized cubes. Peel onions and garlic and peel very finely. The next step is to roast the chopped chicken. Pour vegetable oil into a deep stewpan and heat it well over high heat.
Put pieces of meat in a stewpan and, without reducing the heat, fry them for no more than two or three minutes, constantly stirring. Then transfer to a separate bowl. In the freed stew-pan, put the bacon cubes and fry until they are browned.
Here you need to pay attention to the amount of fat formed during the frying process. Excessive amounts will make the dish too fat. Therefore, the excess must be removed with a tablespoon.
Pour finely chopped onions to the fried bacon, mix and fry it for exactly two minutes. You do not need to fry the onions. Then return the fried pieces of chicken to the stew-pan, pour wheat flour and, stirring all the time, fry for another three minutes. Then pour cream into the stewpan. While stirring, boil until the mass gradually becomes more dense.
Separately grate hard cheese and place two-thirds in a saucepan with cream sauce, and set aside the rest of the cheese for serving. You also need to add chopped garlic, salt and ground pepper. Stir well and simmer for about another five minutes. Then turn off the fire. Creamy spaghetti sauce with chicken is ready.
Cooking spaghetti and forming a dish
Now you need to boil the spaghetti. After the water in the pan boils, pour two dessert spoons of salt into it. And then gently lower the spaghetti in boiling water. Cook, strictly following the instructions on the packaging.
After cooking, put the spaghetti in a colander to a little glass of water, and transfer to a saucepan with cream sauce. Place the chicken spaghetti in a creamy sauce on a small fire. Mix well and warm for five to seven minutes. Then immediately spread the cooked spaghetti with chicken into portioned plates. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese and finely chopped basil greens.
