Antispasmodic "Dietetel": instructions for use

The drug "Dycetel" is intended to reduce pain from spasmodic contractions of smooth muscles in connection with its properties that affect the secretion of hydrochloric acid, as well as the ability to eliminate spasms.

The drug is rapidly absorbed, its maximum concentration in blood plasma is achieved one hour after administration. The active metabolization of the drug is described, decomposition products are excreted mainly with feces, to a lesser extent - by the kidneys. The binding of the drug components to blood proteins is about 95% (very high).

The medicine "Dietetel" is available in the form of tablets with an outer shell, packaged in blisters of 20 pieces. The content of blisters in one cardboard box is 1, 2 or 3, depending on the release. The tablets are biconvex disks of orange color with an extruded number of 50 or 100 (in accordance with the content of the main active substance), an S icon and a triangle with a downward-pointing tip.

The main active ingredient of the drug "Dycetel" is the instruction called pinaveria bromide. Its content in tablets is 50 or 100 mg.

In addition, it contains auxiliary substances:

  • microcrystalline cellulose;
  • modified wheat starch;
  • silica anhydrous;
  • magnesium stearate, talc;
  • gastro-soluble polyacrylate;
  • macrogol 6000;
  • dyes: yellow varnish (E110) and titanium dioxide (E171).

Indications for use of the drug "Dicetel" instruction lists the following:

  • pain caused by spasms of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: cholecystitis, duodenitis, gastritis, etc .;
  • preparation for the study using x-rays using barium, as well as endoscopic studies.

The drug "Dietetel" should be taken exclusively by adult patients. The dose of admission is built according to the following scheme:

3-4 tablets with a content of 50 mg of active ingredient, or 1 tablet twice a day with a content of pinaverium bromide in an amount of 100 mg.

Before the study in the radiologist’s office, the medicine “Dicetel” instructs the patient to take 2 tablets, 100 mg of the active substance per day, or 4 tablets of 50 mg 3 days before the procedure. Taking the medicine "Dietetel" should be done with food, swallowing completely and drinking plenty of water.

The drug "Dietetel" instruction does not recommend use in patients with possible allergies to the components of the drug.

Possible side effects when taking:

  • allergy, constipation, nausea, dyspepsia - rarely;
  • reception before bedtime is undesirable.

During pregnancy, lactation, and children, Dicetel is prescribed only if the intended benefit significantly exceeds the possible risk of use for the mother, unborn child or children.

The common name for the drug in other countries is pinaveria bromide, the only known analogue. "Dietetel" has no other analogues.

This drug is recommended to be stored in a place inaccessible to children and at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C. Shelf life is 5 years for tablets with pinaverium bromide weighing 50 mg, and 3 years for tablets with a mass fraction of the active substance 100 mg.

The interaction of the drug "Dietetel" with other drugs, as well as the symptoms of an overdose, are not described.
