Tailed beasts

Bijuu or tailed beasts are creatures with a huge number of Chakras that can take the form of various animals. These monsters from the Chakra have several tails - from one to nine. The power of these creatures is so great that it surpasses even the most powerful shinobi. But their bestial nature does not allow them to use their full potential. Only in the human body can their abilities be fully revealed thanks to the mind and experience of jinchuuriki (the human receptacle of the caudate).

The names of the tailed animals from "Naruto" will be presented below. Now let's talk more about their nature. Most shinobi consider tailed only as a weapon. Because of this, all people hate biju. Nevertheless, all monsters are aware of their origin, but each of them considers himself a separate person with his own feelings and emotions.

Tailed to each other are quite friendly. However, sometimes conflicts arise between them over finding out who is stronger. Bijuu own telepathy and can use it to communicate with jinchuuriki and among themselves.

The Ten-Tails: A Story of Separation

naruto season 1

The tails of Naruto have one progenitor, the ten-tailed go Jubi. He terrified the whole world. Then the Sage of the Six Ways defeated the monster and enclosed it in itself, becoming the first jinchūriki. However, he understood that after his death, the ten-tailed would receive freedom. Then the Sage decided to divide it into 9 parts, each of which became a separate beast. He sealed the body of the monster and sent it to heaven, later this prison was called the Moon.

After these events, the world of the anime “Naruto” was divided into shinobi villages. The Ten-Tails continued to exist in the tailed ones, which were distributed among these villages by the Sage in order to maintain a balance of power between the various shinobi clans.

But the villages had many problems in order to curb and tame these monsters. Therefore, it was decided to seal the tailed into humans (jinchuuriks) in order to use their forces as weapons and protect civilians.

So that the dzhinchuuriki did not try to betray their native village and escape, people from among the relatives of Kage (the ruler of the village) were chosen for his container.

Nevertheless, few of the Jinchūriki managed to completely subjugate the tailed demon.

During the Fourth Shinobi World War, members of the Akatsuka organization collected tail. Their goal was to revive the ten-tailed.

Single tail

naruto tailed beasts

This beast appeared one of the first in the anime "Naruto". A one-tailed, or Shukaku, can control the sand, in its true form resembles a raccoon dog with dark blue markings. He has a very unpredictable and playful character.

The fourth Kazekage ordered the One-Tailed to be sealed in Gaara's body, even before his birth. In the first season, the biju and his jinchūriki appear during the chuinin exam. In a fight with Sasuke, Gaara loses control of himself and finds himself in the power of the One-Tailed. Shukaku completely takes control of the body of his master. Only Naruto could stop the biju by awakening Gaara from a trance.

In Season Two, the Akatsuki remove Shukaku from Gaara's body, killing the latter. But the oldest villages of Pesca and Naruto manage to bring Gaara back to life. Shukaku is sealed in a huge statue of Gedo Maso.

Double tail

This biju very rarely appeared in the anime “Naruto”. The two-tailed cat looks like a blue cat with a fire-like body, her right eye is yellow and her left is green. His name is Nibi. He is able to control the fire and summon the dead.

Jinchuuriki Nibi was Yugito Nii from Cloud Village. Unlike other jinchuurics, she was not an outcast among her fellow tribesmen due to the fact that a biju was enclosed in her. Members of Akatsuki Hidan and Kakuzu caught Yugito and removed Nibi from her body. At the time of extraction, the jinchuuriki died.

During the Fourth World War, the shinobi Nibi was again infused into the body of Yugito. Toby did this to defeat Naruto and the Eight-Tails with Bi.

Three-tailed

naruto ten-tailed

The tailed demons from "Naruto" are distinguished by their appearance, characters and abilities. So, Sanbi the Three-Tailed, looks like a gray-purple shell tortoise. This biju owns water techniques, and can also create a fog saturated with his Chakra, which sends hallucinations to those who fall into it.

Initially, the Sanchi jinchūriki was the Jagurs, the Fourth Mizukage. However, for unknown reasons, in the second season it was shown that the Three-Tailed lived on the bottom of a large lake, not locked in the human body. Shinobi Konoha planned to capture Sanbi. But in the midst of the operation, Akatsuki members appeared. As a result, the biju was caught by Deidara, and the Hidden Leaf ninja could not stop him. As a result, Sanby was sealed, as was Two-Tailed.

Four-tailed

In the second season, I managed to get acquainted with all the tailed Naruto. Season 1, however, is rather poor in biju. Only the One-Tailed and Nine-Tails appear, whose jinchūriki is Naruto himself.

Acquaintance of the main character with the rest of the tailed in the 2nd season began with the Four-Tails. His name is Song Goku and he takes the form of a huge gorilla. This biju can use acidic techniques and manipulate lava. His jinchuuriki was Rosi from the village of Hidden Rock, who used the biju ability to control lava. Goku's dream was also extracted from the human membrane.

Naruto met the Four-Tails during the battle with Toby, when he called the prisoners in the statue of Gedo Maso Bijuu and forced them to fight on his side, having previously re-placed the tailed in their jinchūriki.

Naruto managed to free him from Tobi's influence, but later he was again sealed in a statue.

Five-tailed

monsters from the chakra

The five-tailed, or Kokou, has the form of a connected dolphin and a white horse. He owns five elements, but can use only one for attack. This biju is called the god of illusions and is considered his ancestor of all genjitsu. It is one of the strongest tailed, above it - only Gyuki and Kurama.

When Kokou was caught and sealed by the Hidden Rock shinobi. His jinchuuriki became Khan. Which was at one time defeated by the Akatsuki members, then the tail was removed from his body. Khan himself died, but was resurrected during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

This biju also met during the battle of Naruto. Tailed beasts always mistrusted people, and gradually began to hate them because they tried to subdue them. The Five-Fifth is a prime example of such hatred. Even being shackled by Toby, he was able to resist him and tried to attack. After that, Toby had to reduce his strength.

Six-tailed

The viewer got acquainted with this biju only in the 2nd season of Naruto. Season 1 said almost nothing about tailed ones, with the exception of Kurama.

The six-tailed or Rokubi (in other Saiken translations) has the appearance of a huge caudate slug of light blue color. In an incomplete transformation, Rokubi has antennae that serve the eyes of the biju. The tail is able to change its shape, thus freeing itself from its grip. It secretes acid with the whole body that can dissolve anything. After a complete transformation, it has very short front legs, so it uses tails in close combat. It emits corrosive gas, destroying and splitting all life.

Rokubi was originally owned by the Mist Village, and the biju was sealed into the body of Utakata, who owned an improved genome and applied the soap bubble technique. Utakata was hiding from AMBU in his village and was accused of killing his teacher. Due to the persecution, he was left alone and became easy prey for Akatsuki. He was also resurrected and called up during the war.

Seven-tailed

naruto jinchuriki

The tails of Naruto are very different from each other in appearance. Choumei (Nanabi in other translations), or the Seven-Tailed, has the appearance of a blue-green rhinoceros beetle. He has 6 legs with red eyes covered with a protective film. Its tails resemble the huge wings of an insect. Like all tailed Chomei has a huge supply of Chakras. He is able to fly thanks to wings-tails, his physical attacks are reminiscent of insect attacks - he bites with his mandibles. He is able to create a cocoon from the threads of the Chakra, which not only blocks the enemy, but also prevents the absorption techniques of the Chakra. Due to the fact that Chowmei is covered with a hard shell, it is able to withstand blows of incredible strength.

The Seven-Tails has a rather cheerful disposition and considers himself lucky. Unlike his brothers, he is not so aggressive towards people and doesn’t have so much hatred for them, as, for example, Kurama.

This biju belonged to the village of the hidden Waterfall. His jinchūriki was a girl named Fu. He was also captured by Akatsuki and sealed in a statue of Gedo Maso.

Eight-tailed

Gyuki (in other translations of Hachibi) is completely different from the rest of the tailed ones from Naruto. Its distinctive feature is that he is the first biju who was able to find a common language with his jinchūriki and make friends.

Gyuki looks like a huge lilac octopus connected to a bull. Its tails look like tentacles. He has incredible physical strength. Able to create ink to blind enemies and hide. The biju also creates ink clones.

This caudate has always been owned by the hidden Cloud Village. The eight-tailed jinchūriki is Killer Bee. According to Gyuki himself, before meeting with Bi, he was completely wild, but later was able to change and become better. The biju's affection for his jinchūriki was so strong that he sacrificed one of his tentacles to replace his body when Akatsuki attacked him.

However, prior to Bi, not a single jinchūriki could completely take control of the eight-tailed. Therefore, he often went out of control and the raikage with a team of elite shinobi had to reassure him and seal it again.

Gyuki along with Bi fought on the side of the Shinobi alliance against Tobi and Uchiha Madara.

Nine-tailed

Naruto Tailed Demons

Naruto - the nine-tail jinchuriki. It is also called Demon Fox, Kyuubi and Kurama. This is the strongest biju, with the exception of the Ten-Tails. He looks like a huge fox with black stripes around his eyes. He controls the fire, can create vortices with the help of his tails.

Kurama is not only the strongest, but also the most cunning, intelligent and dodgy. He hates people, since everyone who was his jinchūriki tried to hold him and hold him down.

Prior to Naruto, his mother Kushina was the receptacle of the biju, but during childbirth the seal that fetters the fox weakened. Kyuubi was then given freedom and immediately came under Madara's control, which made him attack the village of hidden Liszt. Naruto's parents, at the cost of their lives, managed to seal Kurama again by placing their son in the body. Although only half of the Chakra was sealed in Naruto, Kurama remained the strongest of all tailed ones.

Naruto became an outcast due to the one who was placed in him. However, the truth was hidden from the hero for a long time. He recognized her only after he first assumed the appearance of a fox during a battle.

At first, the biju was hostile to his jinchūriki and tried to take control of his body. But in the midst of the Fourth World War, Kurama went over to the side of Naruta and voluntarily united with him.

Interesting Facts

There is a shinobi, his name is Kisame Hoshigaki, who was nicknamed the tailless bija for a huge amount of Chakra. The size of the Chakra of the 4th Raikage can also be compared with the level of the caudate.

Among all the biju, only Kurama can be called up using the summoning technique.
