Celery is a vegetable with feathery leaves and long stems, with a sharp, very characteristic smell. Until the XVII century, celery was used only for table decoration or as a healing plant, and only then they began to be used for its intended purpose.

Celery Salad with Chicken Breasts
We take two chicken breasts, 200 grams of any cheese, 200 grams of root celery, two apples, a bunch of leaf lettuce, 50 grams of mayonnaise. First, prepare the root celery (recipes can be different, but there is one way to prepare the root celery): it must be cleaned with a knife and cut into thin strips. In the same way we cut an apple. Lettuce leaves must be torn by hand, and then all the ingredients can be mixed in a salad bowl. Salt, sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and fill with mayonnaise. But in the summer, to prepare salads that contain root celery, recipes are not needed much - add everything that grows in the garden and in an arbitrary amount. For example, celery can be added to your favorite salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. How do you usually cook it? Mix tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions, dill, often even radishes and bell peppers.
