Probably, there is not a single person in the countries of the former USSR who would not know Zemfira. She is called the queen of Russian rock. She is adored by millions. She is a singer from God, who suddenly broke into the music show business in the late twentieth century.
First appearance on stage
Her stage name is also a real name. In an interview, Zemfira said that she does not have a nationality, and this must be remembered. The famous singer was born on August 26 in Ufa in the year 76 of the twentieth century. Absolutely all Zemfira's albums have become popular not only in the Russian Federation, but also abroad. Millions of fans are looking forward to her concerts. And this triumphal procession began in 1999, when the awesome song “Arividerchi” began to sound on all radio stations, the author and composer of which was Zemfira. The first album of the singer bears a name similar to her name. In addition to a talented performer, the famous “Mumiy Troll” and Ilya Lagutenko worked on this creation. This album includes the compositions "AIDS", "Why?", "Scandal" and others.
Crazy popularity and continued creativity
It was with her first collection of songs in the style of Russian rock that the singer’s frenzied popularity began. The peak of her fame came in 1999-2004. During this time, the following Zemfira albums were released: the very first of them was Zemfira, a creation entitled “Forgive Me My Love” (“PMML”) and the third collection, “Fourteen Weeks of Silence”.
PMML was published in the year of the millennium - in 2000. This masterpiece brought wild popularity to the singer. The tracks from the album were released into ringtones, the companies sang with might and main “The sea embraces, digs into the sands ...”, and the disks and cassettes were sold in gigantic circulations. This collection is considered the best creation of rock girl. Critics say that after “PMML” the singer failed to create anything better.
"Give me your hand"
Two years later, the child of indie rock changes the composition of the group. And already with new musicians Zemfira's new albums were recorded. “Fourteen weeks of silence” was released in 2002. Critics were not enthusiastic about this collection of works, and this album is inferior in popularity to the previous one. There were fewer hits: the philosophically introverted "Infinity", the playful and perky "Who?", The charismatic and cocky "Traffic" - this, in principle, is the entire list of the hit parade of this album. Other songs are light and unobtrusive. Many listeners hastened to attribute them to the “walk-through” - at the expense of previous masterpieces. However, it is precisely with its transparency and soft tone of the composition that the magnet attracts the listener, magically making him “drink” the album to the last drop.
Three more years passed. And in 2005, a new album entitled “Vendetta” was released at the trial of the people and critics. Based on the meaning of the songs that were included in this collection, most people put forward the verdict: “She leaves. Forever". And how else can one explain the words of hits, the meaning of which was reduced to farewell, parting, separation?
The long-awaited new album
To tell you the truth, in relation to Zemfira, people always had this furious zealous feeling, which happens only to close people. Some false accusations: “Well, I could have sung better, but I sang like that ...” Therefore, probably, this singer with her stunning voice and laconic, but harsh statements addressed to critics, won the hearts of millions.
Zemfira's next albums are Thank You (2007) and Live in Your Head (2013). In between songwriting, the singer composed music for films. So, together with Igor Vdovin, Zemfira became the composer of the painting “The Goddess: How I Loved”. The film was released in 2004. The second step in the development of the vastness of cinema was co-production with Renata Litvinova in the film "Rita's Last Tale" in 2012.
Zemfira's new album of 2013 was long-awaited and immediately after release - the most beloved. This confirms the millionth listening to the album on the Internet on Yandex (where it was intentionally posted) the day before the release of the album. "Living in your head" with its nerve, lyrics and endless allegories for a long time kept on top of the charts.
