How to cook chicken puff pastries? Recipe and description of the preparation

Chicken puff pastries are the most delicious and juicy homemade pastries with meat filling. Thanks to the simplicity of the recipe and the speed of cooking, even a schoolboy will cope with this task! As the main filling, you can use chicken meat, eggs, mushrooms, cheese and much more. Each woman’s cookbook contains a unique and signature recipe that pleasantly surprises guests and households from time to time.

Required Products:

  • puff yeast-free dough - 500 grams;
  • chicken thighs - 3-4 pcs.;
  • salt;
  • onions - 1 pc.;
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
  • ground black pepper;
  • sour cream or cream - 50 grams.

This baking can be prepared with both raw and boiled chicken.

Step cooking

What needs to be done:

  1. First of all, it is necessary to defrost our semi-finished product.
  2. Then remove the skin from the chicken thighs. We rinse them under running water. Separate the meat from the bones.
  3. We clean the onion, then finely chop it with a knife and fry in vegetable oil until a golden hue is formed.
  4. Pour the onion into a bowl and add the chicken pieces. Still pour a little sour cream or cream into it.
  5. Sprinkle the filling with spices and salt, then mix everything and proceed to the formation of puff pastry with chicken.
  6. Cut the dough into pieces of any shape convenient for you, sprinkle with flour and roll it out using a rolling pin.
  7. We spread the filling and gently wrap the edges β€œseam” down.
  8. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. We heat the oven to 190 degrees.
  9. We transfer the cobbled pies onto a baking sheet and grease their surface with beaten chicken eggs.
  10. Send the puffs to the oven for 20–25 minutes.

Before serving, the finished dish must be decorated with sesame seeds and add sour cream or garlic sauce.

Chicken and Mushroom Puff Pastry Recipe

Essential Ingredients:

  • champignons - 250 grams;
  • chicken fillet - 450 grams;
  • puff yeast-free dough - 1 package;
  • white onion - 1 pc.;
  • carrot - 1 pc.;
  • oregano;
  • salt;
  • paprika;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

About 10-12 puff pastries with chicken and mushrooms are obtained from one package of the finished dough.

Step cooking

The sequence of our further actions is as follows:

  1. We surround the chicken fillet with warm water, cut it into longitudinal pieces and fry until a delicious crust forms.
  2. Wash the mushrooms from the dirt and cut into thin plates, add to the meat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. We clean the onion and fry it separately from the other ingredients in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes. Add carrots grated on a medium grater to it. Stew until ready.
  4. We mix the chicken fillet, fried mushrooms, carrots and onions in a deep bowl, after which we add spices and thoroughly mix our filling.
  5. We open the packaging of the finished dough, sprinkle it with flour and roll it on the work surface.
  6. Cut the dough into small pieces and spread the filling.
  7. Wrap the edges and transfer the pies onto a baking sheet previously covered with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the oven for about half an hour until cooked.

If desired, such puff pastries with chicken and mushrooms can be decorated with chopped garlic and a sprig of parsley.

How to cook pies with chicken and cheese?

The components of the recipe:

  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • finished puff pastry - 650 grams;
  • chicken fillet or any other part of the chicken - 550 grams;
  • processed cheese with any taste - 200 grams;
  • salt;
  • ground pepper;
  • dried greens;
  • margarine - 50 grams.

In this recipe for pies with chicken from puff pastry, we will use marinade.

Step cooking

First, we need to complete the following steps:

  1. We wash part of the chicken in warm water. We cut the meat into small pieces and dry it with paper towels.
  2. Pour the filling into a deep dish, then sprinkle it with spices and add a drop of table vinegar.
  3. We leave the meat to marinate for half an hour and proceed to the preparation of the dough.
  4. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and mix it with dried herbs and the remaining seasonings.
  5. We open the packaging of the semi-finished product. Sprinkle the dough with wheat flour.
  6. Cut out the necessary shapes from it, for example, using a glass.
  7. Mix the cheese with the chicken pieces, and put the filling on the dough.
  8. Grease a baking sheet with margarine, and then turn on the oven.
  9. We give the pies any shape at your discretion. Fasten the edges.

  • chicken fillet - 350 grams;
  • zucchini - 1 pc.;
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • salt;
  • paprika;
  • olive oil;
  • finished puff pastry - 1 pack;
  • cream 20% - 75 grams.

  1. Boil the fillet in cold water until tender.
  2. Cut it into small pieces.
  3. We pour tomatoes with boiling water and peel them. Divide the tomatoes into small slices.
  4. We clean the zucchini and cut into strips. Then mix it with tomatoes.
  5. Heat the pan and pour olive oil into it. Stew vegetables on it for 10 minutes.
  6. Now add the cream. Mix everything and wait another 5 minutes.
  7. Pour the fried vegetables to the chicken, sprinkle the filling with spices and salt.
  8. Roll out the dough on the table and cut small circles out of it.
  9. We spread the filling on them. Wrap the edges of the pies.
  10. We cover the baking sheet with paper and transfer future puffs to it.
