This drug is used in the presence of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic gouty arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis. They also help effectively in the presence of neuralgia, sciatica, myalgia, lumbago, diseases of extraarticular tissues (rheumatic lesions of the soft tissues, bursitis, tendovaginitis), in the presence of post-traumatic syndromes, which are accompanied by inflammatory processes and to reduce postoperative pain. Diklovit suppositories help during gout attacks, in the presence of primary dysmenorrhea, adnexitis, renal and hepatic colic, ENT infections, migraine attacks and residual pneumonia.
Contraindications to the use of this drug
The presence of hypersensitivity to the components of "Diclovit" suppositories, with impaired blood formation. It is also not recommended to take this remedy for people who have a stomach or duodenal ulcer, βaspirinβ bronchial asthma, as well as during pregnancy and children under six years of age.
Possible side effects
"Diclovitis" suppositories can cause disorders in the body, such as nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea, anorexia, flatulence, dyspepsia. Fatigue, headaches, and dizziness may appear. In the hematopoietic system, side effects of the use of this drug are the appearance of thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia. The specified drug causes an increase in lithium and digoxin in the blood, as well as indirect anticoagulants, quinolone derivatives and oral antidiabetic drugs. The toxicity of cyclosporine, methotrexate increases, there is a likelihood of developing gastrointestinal bleeding, there is a risk of developing hyperkalemia on the background of potassium-sparing diuretics, and the effect of diuretics decreases. The concentration in the blood decreases if acetylsalicylic acid is prescribed together with these suppositories.
When using suppositories, cases of overdose with this agent have not been registered. If the drug is taken orally, the manifestations of its overdose will be dizziness, hyperventilation, the appearance of headaches, blurred consciousness. In children, convulsions, myoclonic gastrointestinal tract disorders, and impaired renal and hepatic function may appear. In the presence of these cases, symptomatic treatment is performed.
