- Orange: has a light orange or orange interspersed with orange and white, orange flavor (in a sachet of 5 g, in a cardboard box of 100, 50, 25, 10 or 5 sachets);
- Lemon: has a light yellow or yellow color with a splash of yellow and white, the taste of lemon (in a 5 g sachet, in a pack of cardboard 100, 50, 25, 10 or 5 sachets). In the instructions for use, contraindications of Rinza powder are also described in detail.
The content of the drug in the form of a powder contains: caffeine, phenylephrine hydrochloride, paracetamol, pheniramine maleate. Additional elements: anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, sucrose, colorants, sodium saccharin and flavorings (for powders with an orange flavor: orange flavoring substance, yellow FCF sunset dye; for lemon-tasting powders: lemon flavoring substance, yellow quinoline dye; for powders with currant flavor: fruit, raspberry, and blackcurrant and flavoring substance, as well as the dye karmoizin).

Medicines “Rinza” and “Rinzasip” have absolutely identical pharmacological properties. They have antipyretic, psycho-stimulating, analgesic, anti-congestive (reduce swelling) and antihistamine action.
Paracetamol provides an analgesic and antipyretic effect. This substance helps to eliminate febrile syndrome, relieves headache, as well as pain that occurs during acute respiratory viral infections, discomfort in the throat, joints, back. Paracetamol - an inhibitor of the enzymes cyclooxygenase-2 and cyclooxygenase-1, which inhibits the production of prostaglandins, has an effect on the central nervous system thermoregulation center. In the inflamed tissues, there is a blocking of the substance by special enzymes, and therefore the inactivation of COX-1 and COX-2 in them is insignificant. This causes the weak anti-inflammatory properties of paracetamol. Nevertheless, this compound successfully inhibits the production of prostaglandins, as a result of which increased body temperature decreases. The substance does not affect the gastric mucosa (unlike other NSAIDs). Taking this substance in therapeutic dosages does not change water-electrolyte metabolism and other types of metabolism.
Phenylephrine-α1 is an adrenergic agonist that helps reduce vascular lumen. Due to this, the edema and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nose, nasopharynx and sinuses are eliminated.
Chlorphenamine is a blocker of histamine H1 receptors, which is characterized by an antiallergic property, expressed in the relief of exudative manifestations, a decrease in swelling and redness of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory canals and sinuses, and a decrease in the severity of sore throat and itching of the eyes and nose.

As for the medicine in Rinzasip powder form, it should be taken with plenty of water or other liquid 1-2 hours after a meal.
