Plot
In the film “Without Brakes” (2017), whose actors are professionals in comic films, the main characters are one difficult family who was about to go on vacation. Each character of this family has its own complex and ambiguous character, so this journey was conceived in order to somehow unite. But at first, a boring ride turns simply into insanity when it turns out that a new SUV's brakes failed.
The head of the family, Tom, was horrified when he found out about the car’s problems, because the car contains his two young children, a pregnant wife and an elderly and strange father. And the scary thing is that the speed of the jeep is 160 km / h and is constantly growing.
In general, the story is quite interesting and extreme. The family has to hold out with all its might not to get off the coils, because during the trip various secret facts are clarified, diluted with funny dialogues.
The protagonists of extreme travel
In the film “Without Brakes” (2017), the actors perfectly embodied in their characters. And the instigator of this whole crazy story was the head of the Tom family. The character of Tom is played by Jose (or Jose) Garcia, known for the films "Asterix at the Olympic Games", "Illusion of Deception", "Cool Measures". Jose says that his hero, although not young, is a fairly modern man who keeps up to date and is simply obsessed with all the new gadgets and technologies. It was Tom who acquired the very "Medusa" - an SUV, trying to show everyone what a "fashionable" guy he is.
Jose Garcia also notes that the first thing that attracted him to participate in the film was shooting on the real road and at speed, and not in the studio. By the way, the same opinion is shared by another actor who played the role of Tom's father, Andre Dussolier. Andre is not young, he is already 71 years old, but there is still gunpowder in the flocks. And his filmography begins already in 1966. Known for his participation in films such as "Cortex", "Do Not Tell Anyone", "Debt Engagement".
The next heroine is the wife of Tom Julia, performed by Caroline Vigno. As the actress admits, after reading the script, she immediately called the agent and agreed to the role. Carolyn read the script in one breath, without stopping laughing. By the way, for the actress, this is the first role in the movie. She is well known in France as a participant in stand-up.
