"Raffaello" made from corn sticks. Recipes

Delicate and at the same time fragile sweets with a romantic name do not leave indifferent among those who tried them at least once. Making Raffaello from corn sticks at home is a simple and fun process. The confectioner's reward will be admiring glances towards the dessert and no less enthusiastic reviews about its taste. Let's get down to translating the formulation into reality as soon as possible.

What's inside

Raffaello stuffed with corn sticks can be any nuts. It is important that the filling is liked by those for whom the dessert is intended. But usually hazelnuts or almonds are hidden inside. So sweets get a neat and noble appearance.

If you are not a fan of nuts in Raffaello from corn sticks, change the filling, for example, to raisins or prunes. You can also hide dried apricots in a crispy sweet shell. It is first necessary to prepare dried fruits: rinse several times, and then dry with thick paper towels.

Component Selection for Shell

Homemade "Raffaello" from corn sticks is preferably made from those that contain less dyes and additives. The modern assortment offers many variations of this snack. But we will choose ordinary ones. Such sticks have a pale yellowish tint. You can purchase a sweeter option: in powdered sugar. Having preferred a crispy snack of moderate sweetness, you will not be mistaken either: “Raffaello” made from corn sticks will have an excellent taste.

What condensed milk to take for homemade sweets? Naturally with sugar. The fat content of the product - the higher the better. And most importantly - choose white condensed milk (not boiled). And now, as soon as we get down to business.

Condensed Milk Recipe

Raffaello from corn sticks

A very quick and unpretentious version of the homemade "Raffaello" made from corn sticks. Dessert Composition:

  • 130-150 grams of sticks;
  • 1 can of high fat condensed milk;
  • nuts (almonds, hazelnuts) - 100 grams;
  • coconut flakes - to taste (more interesting when candies are generously decorated with it).

Preparation

First you need to rinse the nuts and dry them. Remove the outer shell. The peel from the core is also desirable to remove. To do this, fill the nuts with boiling water and let stand for five minutes. Next, fry them in a dry pan. I must say that “Raffaello” from corn sticks according to the recipe below will turn out no worse if the filling is not fried.

Corn sticks are sure to be prepared by turning through a meat grinder. Resist the temptation to crush or simply crush a fragile product. Nothing will make the structure of the future Raffaello shell as similar as possible to the original store, except for this unit. Crushed sticks will still have large impregnations, which is unacceptable in a gentle homemade dessert. So be patient and turn corn sticks into corn sweet flour.

In a separate deep bowl, leave the coconut flakes, pouring out all its norm at once.

Take a deep cup in which we will knead the base for sweets. Very carefully place the chopsticks in it. At this moment, the main thing is that light flour does not fly into the kitchen.

We open the package with condensed milk (or a tin can). Slowly, pour in small portions the sweet contents directly into the cup to the scrolled sticks. Stir with a spoon to achieve smoothness of the sweet mass.

Now wash your hands and pat them with a paper towel. Having plucked a small amount from the total mass, we form a round ball in the palm of our hands, inside of which we hide a nut (or dried fruit). Roll up a smooth round candy.

The workpiece is sent to a cup with coconut. Pressing lightly so as not to crush the future “Raffaello”, run in and sprinkle with this shavings. The first candy is ready. Carefully lay it on a flat dish.

Do the same with the rest of the material. As a result, you get from fifteen to twenty beautiful home-made “Raffaello”. The exact amount depends on the size of the balls created. They should not be made with a diameter larger than walnut.

We’ll send the finished candies in the refrigerator for thirty minutes. After that, you can start tasting.

  • cottage cheese - 180 grams;
  • sugar - 100-130 grams;

We will prepare all the components. Wash cottage cheese through a sieve. Grind the sticks with a meat grinder (or blender).

Mix the curd product and sugar until smooth. Grate the butter and send the chips to the curd mixture. For the processing of butter, it is more convenient to use a coarse grater. Add vanilla sugar to this mixture and add chopped corn sticks in portions. The result will be a dense mass that holds its shape well.

Next, we carry out the manipulations indicated in the previous recipe. We roll the ball out of the hands. Having sunk a nut kernel in its middle, we roll each harvesting in coconut flakes.

Candy must be in the refrigerator for at least three hours. We proceed to the tasting.
