Bean recipe: delicious and satisfying

Today, many people know about such a bean crop as beans. Meanwhile, initially only the inhabitants of the New World knew about its taste and healing qualities, and only thanks to the Columbus expedition, beans, along with other cultures, immigrated to Europe, and from there came to Russia. For some time this culture was grown in botanical gardens, and only after many years simple peasants were able to grow beans.

Fortunately, today we can do with the beans whatever we wish. It is from it that they cook a delicious soup, make salads, main dishes and much more. And beans also have healing properties that are widely used in folk medicine. For example, green pod juice is used to treat diabetes, and dry bean powder is used to treat burns and eczema.

Bean recipe is a source of healthy nutrition, a storehouse of vitamins and nutrients. In addition, beans give any dish a rich taste, though not many people like it. You can eat green bean pods (for example, asparagus), as well as ripe grains. The latter, before you start cooking something from them, you must definitely soak it overnight. Dishes from canned beans are almost as good as fresh, and some recipes involve the use of canned beans, not raw.

Bean Salad

Ingredients: 300 g of beans, 3 slices of bread, onions, mayonnaise.

Preparation: The night before, the beans are soaked in water and left overnight. In the morning, drain the water, and boil the beans over low heat until cooked. While the grains are boiling, cut the bread into slices and fry it in a pan with finely chopped onions. Fry the bread until it becomes crispy. Put the boiled beans in a salad bowl, add fried bread to it and season with mayonnaise. Such a recipe for bean dishes will come in handy for any holiday, and its preparation will not take much time and money.

Dishes with green beans are always tasty and nutritious, while their calorie content is not very high. For example, you can try to make such a salad:

String Bean Salad

Ingredients: 300 g of green beans, apple cider vinegar, onion, dill, parsley, salt, pepper.

Preparation: Cut green beans into slices, boil in boiling water, then throw them into a colander and put them in a salad bowl. Add greens, 2 tablespoons of apple (can be wine) vinegar, finely chopped onions, salt and pepper to taste. Season the salad with vegetable oil.

String Beans with Bacon

Ingredients: 400 g of green beans, 1 onion, 50 g of bacon, marjoram, pepper, salt.

Preparation: Wash the pods and cut into small pieces. Chop the onion finely, cut the bacon into small pieces. In a preheated pan, fry the bacon and onions in olive oil until the last one changes color. Add beans, salt, marjoram and pepper to the pan to taste. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.

Bean and tomato puree soup

Ingredients: 1 kg of bean puree, 1 liter of water, 1 head of onion, 40 g of pasta, 1-2 tomatoes, half a glass of cream, 1 egg, 2 tbsp of butter, salt and pepper.

Preparation: Soak the beans for the night, and boil in the morning and mash it. Dilute the resulting puree with water and bring to a boil. Add cream, yolk and butter. Boil finely chopped tomatoes in advance, then sautΓ© them with onions in a pan and add to the soup. To make the soup look beautiful when served, it can be sprinkled with grated cheese on top. Serve hot only.
