How to make apple jam with oranges

Oranges, peaches, apricots or pears give a special taste to a product such as jam. We take additional fruits in the same amount as the main product. We will need to prepare one kilogram of ripe apples, one kilogram of oranges, one and a half kilograms of granulated sugar and two glasses of water.

First of all, we clean apples from stalks and damaged places. Grind them on a grater, fill with water and set to cook. At this time, peel the oranges. Finely rub the zest. The slices are thoroughly cleaned of white peel and veins, leaving only the middle.

Knead the boiled apples to a puree consistency. Add the grated zest, sugar, orange pulp to the pan and mix well.
