About the
deposition of salts in the body and how dangerous it is, at least once everyone has heard. In fact, this process is by no means as widespread as one might think. Only one disease has a direct relationship with salts - gout. All others can only be similar symptoms, but have nothing in common. Gout, the symptoms and treatment of which will be described later, most often develops after forty years. What are the causes of this disease and how to treat it?
Why is it developing?
The cause of gout, whose symptoms are very similar to arthritis, is hidden in the deposition of uric acid salts, or urates. When the body is functioning properly, acid leaves it in the urine. With gout, part of the acid is not excreted, being deposited in the joints. Deposits injure tissues and cause noticeable discomfort. The formation of uric acid salts can be caused by a malfunction in the liver and pancreas. These bodies must regulate salt metabolism. Another reason may be impaired renal function due to hypothermia or dropping. The kidneys play an important role for metabolism, so the deterioration of their work immediately leads to the appearance in the body of excess salts and toxins. Most often, men have to deal with gout. Women tend to get it only in old age. A symptom of gout can occur on any joint. Nevertheless, the feet are most often affected.
Symptoms of Gout
Exacerbation of the disease usually occurs at night. The pain intensifies within a few hours. It is impossible to predict the onset of an attack in advance. If you ignore the pain, leaving the disease without treatment, the condition will worsen. Joint stiffness is a symptom of gout that has grown into chronic. With the development of the disease, all other joints may soon suffer. In addition, the kidneys and ureters can be affected, as uric acid can be deposited in and in the form of salts. Therefore, try to identify the disease in the first stages and begin treatment. In addition to joint pain, a symptom of gout is a sharp jump in temperature. This can be reddened skin on the affected area, and swelling. Secondary signs of the disease include heartburn, mood swings, decreased appetite, nausea, shortness of breath, hypertension, and a decrease in taste. Finally, at the last stage of the disease, the joint is completely destroyed, salts become visible to the naked eye - white tubercles appear on the affected area.

Disease treatment
If you notice a similar symptom of gout, consult a doctor immediately. A timely visit will allow you to get rid of pain during the day. As part of the prevention of the disease, a diet should be followed. You need to use fresh juices, steamed food and white lean meat. Exclude from the diet you need beans, convenience foods, canned food, fatty meat, fish, smoked meats, dark chocolate, coffee, alcoholic beverages. At the time of exacerbation of the disease, try to minimize movement, so that crystals accumulated in the joint do not destroy soft tissues. If you are overweight, you should think about losing weight. You should exclude medications that provoke an increase in salts in the body.
