Nothing amuses a company of adults more than good alcohol. And although we can talk a lot about the dangers of alcohol-containing drinks, there will be less of them on our tables. Therefore, it is extremely important to know which of the alcoholic products were created without the addition of “unnatural” chemicals, and which are commonly called “fake vodka”.
Not so long ago, the Morosha TM appeared on the Ukrainian market. An unusual name and a good advertising campaign allowed this vodka to gain popularity among many connoisseurs of alcoholic beverages and in other countries. What is the difference between Morosha vodka, is it really unique in composition and what are the reviews about this alcoholic drink?
Brand history
In August 2011, in the city of Lviv (Ukraine), the international alcohol holding Global Spirits began production of special vodka called Morosha. The uniqueness of this drink is that, unlike others, this vodka uses water from the real mineral springs of the Carpathians. This, according to manufacturers, makes Morosha vodka softer and more natural.
The wonderful advertising campaign, which was carried out mainly on television, paid off: after 2 months, the company sold 1 million bottles of the drink.
Customers liked the softness of Morosha vodka, which was palpable in comparison with other strong drinks of the same price category.
Over time, Moroshu began to be produced in Russia - in Vologda. Neither the recipe nor the design of the Moroshi has changed, but those who have tried vodka both there and there note a difference in taste.
The composition of vodka
The main "trick" of this drink is the use of mineral water in the composition. They are mined in the mountain source "Mizunskoye" in the tract Lisinets, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Due to the fact that the water beats at an altitude of 1122 meters above sea level, it has a special mineral composition. The same water is used as a canteen in this region, and you can drink it without prior filtration.
Water is defended for some time, after which it is completely ready to make vodka from it. Especially for this mineral water, alcohol of the "Lux" class is selected, which creates a unique taste of the alcoholic drink and affects its softness.
In order to fully support the image of “eco”, aromatic alcohols from mountain herbs and infusions of oatmeal are added to Morosh. Thus, the Getman factory creates unique vodka without a pronounced alcoholic aftertaste.
Marketing
Initially, the owner of the holding, Evgeny Chernyak, succeeded in promoting the Morosh brand due to the environmental friendliness of the product. Despite the fact that the price of this vodka is above average, it is thanks to the naturalness and softness that this drink was liked by consumers.
“Morosha” is a word from the dialect of the inhabitants of the Carpathians, which means an atmospheric phenomenon when steam rises above the forest from trees, resembling fog. The word is so suited to the brand in sound that basically consumers do not even think about the origin of the word.
A large TV advertising campaign was launched immediately. A beautiful commercial with views of the Carpathians and a clear position with the prefix “eco” interested many. The producers also “transferred” the naturalness of this vodka to a bottle in the form of a drop with a label in the form of a leaf. This was a great detail that sets Morosha on store shelves among other vodkas. Bottle cork made from natural raw materials is also different.
Over time, an advertising campaign leaked to the Internet, and a high-quality official website of TM Morosha was created. Over a dozen people worked on his work for a long time. Especially for the site, unique photos were taken, a lot of information about the area was collected, and an option for mobile devices was developed.
Brand success
Thoughtful advertising and an emphasis on naturalness have done their job: today in Ukraine Morosha is in the TOP 5 most popular vodkas in the country and is surely gaining popularity in Russia. In 2013, at home, vodka showed incredible development and became 81% more popular. This indicator is one of the largest in the world in terms of brand distribution speed.
Since 2013, Morosha vodka has been produced in Russia at the Russian North plant in Vologda for the Russian market. Here it is produced using the same technologies, but using mineral water from the source of Karelia. Although this is one brand, many consumers feel a significant difference in vodka from different countries. Morosha vodka is not so high-quality in Russia, customer reviews are proof of this.
Types of "Cloudberries"
Depending on the height at which water is extracted from a source in the Carpathians, manufacturers have created 5 different modifications of this alcoholic drink.
- "Rodnikovaya" ("Dzherelna"), the water for which is extracted at an altitude of 470 m above sea level.
- "Carpathian" - 630 m.
- The Preserve - 850 m.
- “On the water from Lake Synevyr” - 989 m.
- Premium - 1050 m.
Also, from the end of October 2015, a special, Vodograina vodka has been produced. Water for it is extracted at an altitude of 430 m. Infusions of yarrow, lemon peel and black elderberry are added to it.
The criterion for Russia according to which Morosha vodka is different is the level of softness. So, it is 1, 2 and 3 levels, and each of the buyers can choose a suitable one. Thus, Morosha 3 vodka is the strongest, and 1 is the softest. Bottles are available in volumes of 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0 liter.
Reviews for "Morosha"
In Ukraine, this vodka is really different in taste. Due to the greater variety, it is much easier for the consumer to choose a favorite option.
In general, at home, Morosha vodka is one of the most popular, despite the general increase in prices in the country. This is due to the quality of the drink, which differs from the products of other manufacturers in its softness and taste.
In Russia, the situation is different. Many buyers note that the vodka produced at the Russky Sever factory is not the best, although it uses quite high-quality Alfa alcohol. Moreover, some buyers complained not only about the unpleasant aftertaste of the drink, but also that it freezes at temperatures below 0. Therefore, Morosha vodka is not so popular in Russia, reviews on Internet resources confirm this.
