“The Duff” is a hilariously funny comedy directed by Eri Sandel, telling about how yet another modern Cinderella - high school student Bianca, considered to be surrounding JUPA (a terribly ugly girlfriend), managed to conquer the seductive school “prince”, although, in fact, to conquer there was nothing special. The picture is a film adaptation of the eponymous work by Cody Keplinger. The film "Simple", the actors and roles of which will be described in this publication, has an IMDb rating of 6.50.

The actress peerlessly revealed the character of her heroine, demonstrating the path of the average young person from the "gray mouse" to the brilliant "princess".

Surprisingly, the creators of the tape resisted the temptation to introduce some funny episodes with supporting actors Allison Jenny (“The West Wing”, “Mom”, “Sex Masters”) and Ken Jong (“Community”, a series of films “The Bachelor Party” Vegas "). Such masters could easily pull on a "comedy blanket." But the authors, for once, decided to leave May Whitman behind the lead, giving her the right to be the main source of funny situations, and not vegetate in the shadow of more successful comedian colleagues.
