Nuts - Recipe from Childhood

In our Soviet childhood, nuts with condensed milk were almost the most desired and delicious delicacy. But even now, these cookies are quite popular, due to the simplicity of preparation and amazing taste, which will be appreciated by the sweet tooth. And they are called so because they resemble a walnut in shape. Over time, many different ways of baking nuts have appeared. How to make nuts, we will learn further. The only general requirement for their manufacture is the presence of a special molding pan or electric waffle iron - hazel. Let's look at some ways to make this cookie.

Nuts - a classic recipe

We will need:

  • 200 g butter;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 tbsp. flour;
  • half a glass of sugar;
  • soda - a third of a teaspoon;
  • vinegar 9% - a teaspoon.

In this recipe, butter can be replaced with margarine, but the taste will change a little, and instead of the usual, take chocolate. So, melt the butter in a water bath. Pour sugar and mix well with a whisk. We extinguish soda with vinegar and add to the oil.

Mix the eggs well in a separate cup and pour into the previously obtained mixture. Pour in flour a little while mixing thoroughly. The dough should be very thick and fat.

We lubricate the heated hazel with butter only before the first tab. We form balls of 2 cm diameter from the dough and put them into the hazel grooves. Close the mold tightly, pressing the lid with special effort for the first few seconds. We remove the excess dough, which can leak along the edges, then we make smaller balls in the next tab. And bake over low heat for several minutes until the shells are browned. We start with boiled condensed milk with or without butter, into which you can add chopped walnuts or cookies to your taste. We connect the halves and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Or you can start with a cream prepared according to this recipe: bring a glass of milk, 200 gram butter and a glass of sugar to a boil, add cocoa to taste and the Baby formula so much that the cream becomes thick. We also start our shells.

Nuts - instant recipe

We buy 500 g of frozen shortcrust pastry. Defrost and knead it well, giving the shape of a ball. Then we divide this ball into smaller ones, they should turn out to be about 42 pieces. To make it more convenient to divide, you can do this: make seven small pieces from a large one, and divide these small ones into about 12 more, stretching each one a little. A special electric waffle iron nuts will help to bake even faster. In its warmed cells, lay out the blanks from the dough, crushing them a little with a spoon and bake until cooked. Ready halves will get a golden hue. Then beat 100 g of softened butter until smooth with a half jar of boiled condensed milk. Optionally, you can add a teaspoon of cognac. We well coat the halves with the cream obtained and tightly connect them. So do with all the blanks. Ready nuts must be kept for several hours in the refrigerator for better โ€œgripโ€.

Nuts - recipe without the use of eggs

Dough:

  • half a glass of sugar;
  • 2-2.5 cups flour;
  • 100 ml sour cream;
  • butter (or margarine) - 200-250 gr;
  • half a teaspoon of soda (slaked).

In this recipe, sour cream can be replaced with mayonnaise. And add 1/3 cup starch to the flour. We mix all the ingredients. You should get a homogeneous soft dough. We pluck off small pieces and lay out in the form. Bake, as indicated above, and coat with the filling you like.
