What do we need to get a delicious dish? Tasty cod in batter will become if you cook the following set of ingredients: a pound of cod fillet, one egg, a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil, half a lemon, two tablespoons of flour, pepper and salt.

First we clean the cod from the scales, wash it thoroughly, cut into equal slices of fillet. To avoid troubles while eating, you must very carefully choose the meat from the bone. Then salt and sprinkle with the juice of half a lemon. Let the fish lie down for now, and we set about making batter.

Preparing a batter for fish is quite simple. We break the egg in a bowl, add a couple of pinches of salt and black pepper to it. First you need to beat the egg with spices, then gradually add flour, and stir the dough. By consistency, it should look like a pancake dough. Next, you need to dip each piece of cod in batter on both sides. At the same time, make sure that each piece is evenly covered with dough, the general appearance of the dish depends on this.

Next step. Take a frying pan, slightly heat and grease with vegetable oil. Then we prepare the prepared pieces of fish in batter on it. Each side must be fried over low heat under a lid for 12 to 15 minutes. Then your fish will turn out very juicy and will not burn. During the first five minutes, I propose to remove the lid so that excess moisture evaporates. Fry until a beautiful golden crust appears. Then you need to remove the fish on a napkin. Oven baked cod in sour cream sauce.

We take: cod 500 g, mushrooms 60 g., Boiled potatoes 3 pcs., Onions 80 g., Dill bunch, cornmeal 30 g., Melted butter 55 g., Butter 30 g., 2 eggs, cheese 50 g., sour cream 200 g., salt and ground pepper.
