The specificity of the drug is that it does not affect lactobacilli, which make up the normal vaginal microflora.
Forms of the drug and the composition of "Hexicon"

Solution
The Hexicon solution has a wider range of uses. It is used for local applications, rinses and irrigation. For one procedure, five to ten milliliters of the drug is required, which is applied to the vaginal mucosa or affected skin. The focus is allowed to simply be irrigated with liquid, or first a swab is moistened in it, which is then applied to the affected area.
The procedure should be repeated during the day 2-3 times. Other solution therapy options:
- If the patient has oral diseases, 3-4 rinses with a solution in an amount of 5 to 10 milliliters are recommended on the day.
- As a preventive measure for genital infections: the solution is injected into the vagina using a nozzle no later than two hours after sexual contact without a condom. Its dosage in this case is from five to ten milliliters. The nozzle of the vial should be kept inside for 2-3 minutes. The genitals and epidermis are treated with the solution on the inner femoral surface. After the procedure, for hours it is forbidden to go to the toilet for little need.
Gel "Hexicon"
This form of release is applied externally and applied to the skin or mucous membranes. Each disease is characterized by a specific treatment regimen:
- Gynecological inflammation: the gel is applied in a thin layer to the affected area twice a day. The therapeutic course lasts from seven to ten days.
