History
The decision to create the House of Music of St. Petersburg was made in 2005. In 2006, they created an organization to which the palace building was transferred, requiring urgent restoration. Reconstruction and restoration of the building was carried out in the period 2006-2009. The project was authored by representatives of the Lenproject Restoration Institute.
First, work was carried out at the expense of philanthropists, then financing was carried out on budgetary funds. The volume of investments received from the city budget amounted to 800 million rubles. Representatives of the company Intarsia engaged in the restoration of ceremonial interiors and facades. Part of the construction work was undertaken by Remstroykompleks.
The administration moved to the building in 2009. The first concerts took place here in 2011. The English palace hall has become the main venue for performances. Since 2007, the soloists of this group have performed on the Volga and Moscow stages, as well as accompanied by the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra.
Projects
The main project of the St. Petersburg House of Music, combining all the programs, is "Higher Performing Courses". Selection and subsequent participation are free of charge. Finance for the implementation of this project comes from patrons or from the budget.

During this period, participants are expected to perform in front of the public, take independent classes with the accompanist and take individual lessons with professors. Other projects
The St. Petersburg House of Music initiates a series of concerts called "Young Performers of Russia". This is a series of performances by young musicians accompanied by a symphony orchestra or with solo programs.
