The actor was born in the city of Gomel on June 27, 1978 in the family of a worker in a specialized institution for orphans. As a child, he often communicated with peers who did not have parents, which later left an imprint on his worldview and attitude to life. He and his older brother were brought up in severity in a family in which discipline and respect for elders were paramount.
