Meat in a slow cooker: easy and tasty

Surely you have already been able to appreciate the advantages of the multicooker over traditional kitchen pots and pans. Dishes cooked in this “smart” dish belong to the category of healthy nutrition, since they retain all the most useful, and the fat content is minimal. Dietary and especially tasty meat is obtained in a slow cooker. At the same time, you can cook it separately or stew with vegetables, cereals - a lot of recipes, and it will take very little time and effort.

To cook meat in a slow cooker, just put prepared foods in a bowl of dishes, add a little imagination and choose the right menu.

Examples of cooking meat dishes using the main modes

"Soup / double boiler." Allows you to get boiled meat, meat broth or soup. But the main advantage of this mode is the ability to prepare a festive jelly without hassle. Put the pulp of beef or pork, pork legs in a bowl, add carrots, onion and pour water to the top mark. Turn on the “soup / steamer” mode, remove the noise after 30 minutes and leave it for 3 hours. When the beep sounds, add spices and turn on the mode for another hour. After the meat is cooked, remove it, cut into small pieces, put into molds and fill with broth.

"Bakery products". This mode is suitable for cooking various casseroles and puddings, as well as for frying. It should be noted that with an ordinary fried and crispy crust, meat in a slow cooker will not work. It will be slightly browned meat with a delicate taste - a great alternative for those who should not eat fried. If someone loves well-fried meat, then after a slow cooker you can use a frying pan - it will become a crispy golden crust on the outside and juicy on the inside.

You can easily and quickly cook baked pork with cheese. Cut 600 g of pork fillet into slices about 1.5 cm thick, then each steak in strips of 2-3 cm. Rinse and dry them, make a few cuts across each and put thin plates of garlic there. Transfer the prepared pieces into a bowl, sprinkle with salt, ground pepper. Cut two large tomatoes into slices and put on meat, sprinkle with grated cheese (100 g) on ​​top. Cook in the “Baking” mode for 50 minutes. Serve fresh or stewed vegetables at the side dish .

"Extinguishing". It is most often used to cook stewed meat in a slow cooker. A rather simple recipe, which will be by the way forever busy housewives and impatient, hungry family members - beef with carrots. Rinse the beef pulp, cut into small pieces, onion - in small cubes, rub the carrots on a grater. Put the meat in the bowl, sprinkle with spices, lay the carrots with onions on top and simmer for 50 minutes.

As a rule, first the meat is fried in the “Baking” mode to improve the taste and remove excess fat, and then vegetables, cereals are added and the “Stew” is turned on. For example, this is how meat is cooked in a slow cooker with vegetables. If you pre-marinate the meat for several hours, you get a dish from which you can’t drag anyone by the ears. For marinade, mix yogurt (without fruit filler) with hot ketchup, pour portioned meat and leave for 2 hours in a cool place. Then transfer the meat to a slow cooker and fry on the “Baking” for 20-25 minutes. Rub the carrots on a grater, chop the onions in half rings, sweet pepper in small strips, add vegetables to the meat and fry for 15 minutes. After that add coarsely chopped potatoes and switch the mode to “Stew” for an hour and a half.

"Buckwheat". In addition to crumbly porridge, this mode allows you to cook such a hearty dish as buckwheat with meat in a slow cooker. For two glasses of buckwheat, take 4 glasses of water (or broth), 250-300 g of meat, medium onion, carrots. Cut the meat into slices and fry in the “Baking” mode for 15-20 minutes, then add the onion and grated carrots, diced and diced, mix everything and fry with the meat for 15 minutes. Then pour the washed buckwheat, pour water, salt, add pepper and turn on the "Buckwheat" mode. In about an hour, everything will be ready. If buckwheat is poured with hot boiled water, then the cooking time will be reduced to 45 minutes.
