Honey is not only a sweet treat. Its properties and taste are well suited for the preparation of sweet and sour sauces. For pork with honey you will need:
- about 500 grams of the neck;
- a few cloves of garlic;
- vegetable (olive or sunflower) oil - 2 tablespoons;
- lemon juice (you can take concentrated juice from the package) - 2 small tablespoons;
- liquid honey (it can also be candied, only it should first be melted) - a few spoons;
- soy sauce - a few tablespoons;
- curry seasoning - to taste;
- drinking water - 10-20 mg;
- salt and red ground pepper.
Pork neck recipe in honey sauce
Start by preparing the meat. Rinse the piece in cold water. Dry it. If there are any films left, then delete them. Chop the neck. Make sure the pieces are cut across the fibers. Slices should be about a centimeter thick. Beat them a little with a kitchen hammer. Sprinkle each piece of meat on both sides with pepper and salt. Put the prepared pork in a plate and start cooking the marinade.
How to make Garlic Marinade
Peel the garlic. Grind it through a grater, a blender or just finely chop with a knife. In a deep plate, combine oil, lemon juice, water, soy sauce, curry. Add garlic to the ingredients and mix well. Dip each piece of meat into the cooked mass and put it on the plate again. Fill the neck with the rest of the marinade, cover with a film or press with a plate of a smaller diameter. Leave to marinate. Ideally, the meat should be held in the marinade for at least night (8-10 hours), but you can limit yourself to two or three hours.
How pork neck is fried
The recipe for this marinade is not only suitable for frying. The meat can be baked or grilled over charcoal. After the right time has passed, remove the meat from the refrigerator and proceed to frying. Drain the whole marinade into the pan, put the meat in it. Stew for 10 minutes. Then pour the pieces with liquid honey. Continue to simmer another 10 minutes. Once the sauce begins to thicken, turn off the heat, cover the pan with a lid. Now you need to wait 5 minutes - the dish should be infused. Put the prepared meat on plates, pour sauce and serve with a side dish.

Sleeve baking is always a good option. You can be sure that the meat does not dry out, and due to cooking in its own juice, it will become tender and soft. In order to bake a pork neck, you need:
- about a kilogram of meat;
- salt, seasonings;
- white wine (preferably dry) - a glass;
- oil (olive or sunflower) - 2 tablespoons;
- Garnet.
