“Rotted” is used in the treatment of anovulatory infertility in women, miscarriage, the threat of self-abortion, as well as with the goal of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, induction of ovulation and an increase in estrogen levels. Its use is effective in the regimen of endogenous lutein hormone replacement therapy to stimulate follicular maturation.
Indications for use in men are delayed sexual development associated with hypofunction of the genital glands, cryptorchidism, impaired spermatogenesis. Consider the most famous analogue of "Rotten" in this article.
Description of the drug “Rotted”
“Rotten” contains human chorionic gonadotropin (CG). This hormone begins to produce chorionic tissue at the end of the process of implantation of the embryo. CG has follicle-stimulating and luteinizing activity, enhances estrogen secretion and initiates the ovulation process. It further supports the functional activity of the corpus luteum until the production of estrogen and progesterone by the placenta begins.
The use of exogenous chorionic gonadotropin not only enhances the secretion of estrogen and progesterone by the ovaries, but also induces ovulation, contributes to the subsequent luteinization of the burst follicle.
The use of CG drugs is most effective in the regimen with the appointment of human menopausal and follicle-stimulating hormones.
Therapy regimens
“Rotted” (analogous to “Rotted” is available in the same dosage) is available in dosages of 1,500 and 5,000 MO. Used for intramuscular injection.
In the treatment of anovulatory infertility in women, a single administration of 5000-10 000 MO is recommended, at the end of the course of therapy with FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) or ChMG (human menopausal gonadotropin).
Before the puncture, for the control stimulation of the ovaries, after the end of treatment, 5000 MO are administered.
Support for the luteal phase is carried out by cyclic injections in a dosage from 1000 to 3000 MO every three days - 3 times.
In men, it is used for hypofunction of the sex glands and impaired spermatogenesis in dosages from 1000 to 2000 MO several times a week (the “Rotted” analogue can be taken according to the same scheme).
In the treatment of cryptorchidism in children, the drug is used 2 times a week, the recommended dosage:
- up to 2 years - 250 MO;
- up to 6 years appoint from 500 to 1000 MO;
- after 6 years - 1500 MO.
We examined the use of the drug. But it is best to consult a doctor before starting therapy and get a prescription from him.
Analogs "Rotten"
What are the analogues of the “Rotted” drug? In fact, there are many, there are cheaper drugs, there are expensive ones.
"Chorionic gonadotropin"
"Chorionic gonadotropin" is an inexpensive analogue of "Rotten." Available in a dosage of 500; 1000; 1500 units. It is applied intramuscularly. It is prescribed in a dosage of 1500 IU every other day or 3000 IU 2-3 times a week in the treatment of infertility in women. In the treatment of sexual infantilism, from 500 to 1000 units are prescribed several times a week, for a course of up to 2 months. Children are prescribed 500-1000 MO for up to ten years, then - 1,500 units for up to a month with repeated courses. That is, the drug “Rotted” analogues are cheap.
Ovitrel
Ovitrel contains choriogonadotropin alpha. Available in a dosage of 250 mcg (6500 IU). It is applied subcutaneously. Stimulates yellow body formation, follicular maturation and ovulation. 250 mcg are equated to 5000 IU of human chorionic gonadotropin. When stimulating the ovaries and obtaining superovulation, 250 ÎĽg is used, after a course of therapy with human menopausal or follicle-stimulating hormones. In the treatment of anovulation, 1 dose is prescribed a day before intercourse.
Horagon
Another analogue of “Rotten”. Available in dosages of 1,500 and 5,000 MO. It is administered intramuscularly. It is used for dysmenorrhea, sexual gland hypoplasia, sexual infantilism in order to accelerate sexual development, the threat of spontaneous abortion, for the induction of superovulation. For the induction of superovulation, it is prescribed in a dosage of 5000 to 10,000 MO once. In the treatment of habitual abortions, it is recommended to use from the first day of pregnancy until 14 weeks, twice a week for 10,000 MO. Treatment of hypogonadism includes the appointment of from 1,500 to 6,000 MO once a week. Androgen deficiency in men is treated with the use of hCG once every two weeks, for three months.
"Choriomon"
Available in a dosage of 5000 MO / ml, for intramuscular administration. It is highly effective in the treatment of amenorrhea and anovulatory cycle. It is used in combination with human menopausal gonadotropin (75 MO) for up to 10 days subcutaneously or intramuscularly in order to increase estrogen secretion. When a mature follicle appears on an ultrasound scan, from 5,000 to 10,000 Choriomon MOs are administered to induce ovulation. The drug is administered 1-2 days after the last injection of HMG or FSH. Sexual intercourse is recommended daily until ovulation occurs.
In infertility due to insufficiency of the luteal phase, "Choriomon" is used in 5000 MOs on the 21, 23 and 25 days of the cycle.
Profazi
"Profazi" - an analogue of "Rotten 5000". Available in dosages of 2000 and 5000 MO. It is applied intramuscularly. Therapy of anovulatory infertility is carried out by the introduction of 10,000 MO in the middle of the cycle, after treatment with ChMG or FSH. To induce superovulation, 10,000 MO are prescribed a day before the egg is taken. In case of corpus luteum insufficiency, administration of 5000 MO is recommended on the fifth and ninth days after ovulation. "Profazi" is highly effective in the treatment of habitual miscarriage. 10,000 MO are used at the first application, then 5,000 MO twice a week for up to 14 weeks.

All therapy takes place strictly under the supervision of a specialist and control of changes in the analyzes, the use of these drugs at home is unacceptable and can lead to irreparable health consequences.
Anovulatory infertility treatment should be carried out under ultrasound monitoring of follicular growth and continuous evaluation of the cervical index.
Daily monitoring of estradiol levels is important. With a symptom of unwanted ovarian hyperstimulation, chorionic gonadotropin therapy immediately stops.
