Simple recipes: canapes with mozzarella

It is very convenient and beautiful for any holiday table setting. And also incredibly tasty, seductive and original - such an appetizer on skewers will be the highlight of the feast. Of course, we are talking about canapes in various variations. Today, such dishes occupy a whole culinary special section, and by the types of serving and slicing components, they can probably compete even with confectionery. So we stock up on plastic or wooden skewers - today we will make canapes with mozzarella. And a bright and fairly simple festive table will be provided to you!

A bit about the dish itself

The word "canapes" in Russian means "tiny, mini." That is, we mean very small sandwiches (you can eat them at a time, sending them whole in your mouth). And if the canapes with mozzarella or other types of cheese need to be bitten off, then this is already an ordinary sandwich. By the way, there are two varieties of food. In the first, a fresh (either fried in oil, or dried) bread is used as the “basis of the basics." In the second, a substrate of cheese or vegetables acts as such: fresh cucumber, boiled potatoes, carrots, or even beets. And in preparing canapes with mozzarella, it is considered one of the important points - to think over the sequence of ingredients in advance so that they are placed on the skewer beautifully and, no doubt, are compatible with each other to taste. The cooking process itself is quite simple. Let's get started?

Canapes with mozzarella and tomatoes

This is not to say that the ingredients for this dish are not available, but you still have to look for them on sale. Balls of mini-mozzarella will be used as the base into which the skewer is stuck - they are just perfectly suitable for their qualities, taste and size. And we also need cherry tomatoes - such a small, special sort. We also take a couple of tablespoons of olive oil, pesto sauce, basil and salt and pepper as ingredients. In principle, in any supermarket that respects itself and customers, these products are quite affordable. If you are slowed down by the word “pesto”, then you should know: this sauce (or similar) can actually be made with your own hands in the kitchen. To do this, put in a blender branches of basil, a couple of cloves of garlic, a handful of peeled pine nuts, add olive oil and a little salt - and beat to a puree state. Then add grated parmesan - 50 grams, and mix everything again in a blender. It will turn out no worse than the store one (or maybe better).
