The Simpsons is one of the most popular animated series in the world. This family deservedly climbed the career ladder and attracted crowds of fans. And many of them wanted to know, but how to draw the Simpsons? To draw a famous family is not very difficult, if you observe the proportions at the beginning of the picture. Therefore, when the characters start to turn out well, you can try to create your own comic strip. Consider how to draw the male part of the family, namely: Homer Simpson, the head of the family, and his son Bart.
For work you will need colored pencils, felt-tip pens or a tablet (if you want to draw on a computer).
Let's start with how to draw Homer Simpson.
1. We draw two circles: a large one, and a small one on top of it. This is the body of the future Homer. Draw a small oval above them and connect it with circles, and outline the legs below. It is important at this stage to observe the proportions so that the drawing is correct. Next, you need to draw the middle line along the oval and circles. This will help make the pattern symmetrical. Then we outline the hands. Pay attention to the length of the arms and legs. It does not have to be the same!
2. Getting to face painting. First you need to draw two circles, eyes and a nose between them. Further under the nose we depict the mouth (and in Homer - the stubble). To do this, you can first draw a circle, and then divide it, if it is more convenient for you.
3. We outline the upper eyelid and ear on the previously prepared oval. Let's draw some teeth. And now just circle the oval, expanding it a bit. If the proportions were correctly observed at the first stage, you will see the ideal head of Homer Simpson! Watch the proportions carefully, since drawing the Simpsons will be easy only when you follow this rule.
4. Draw hair - the letter “M” above the ear and a couple of hairs on the top of the head. Let us depict the collar as shown in the illustration.
5. Connect the circles that we depicted in the first stage with one line. Next, on both sides of the collar, draw sleeves and hands to the wrist. Note that the sleeve is slightly wider than the character’s hand.
6. We draw fingers. On Homer's right hand, his fingers are bent - he holds a can of beer. Separate the character’s shirt from the pants and draw the pants, as shown in the illustration. The important thing is that Homer's shirt and pants are visible behind his left hand, do not forget about it!
7. We draw shoes and a can of beer. A typical homer is ready. It can be painted to complete the picture. Now you know how to draw the Simpsons, or at least one of them.
Next, we’ll look at how to draw Bart Simpson. Portraying this little bully is much simpler than Homer.
1. Draw a circle - this is Bart's future belly. Above it is a tin can with nine prongs - a head and a hairstyle. It is advisable to mark the neck and sleeve, and draw a line of symmetry and facial contours on the head. We outline the legs under the circle.
2. We portray the nose and ear. We connect the stomach to the neck and finish drawing the mouth. We depict the hand and fingers as shown in the illustration. Finish drawing legs.
3. Draw the eyes. We separate shorts and a T-shirt, as well as draw boots.
4. Bart is ready, you can start painting!
That's all. After some time, you can practice portraying the female half of the family, but it will be somewhat more complicated.
