It is difficult today to imagine a festive table without small snack sandwiches - canapes on skewers. They are prepared for receptions, buffet and children's table. You can cook such tiny sandwiches for any holiday - on New Year's, birthday. The following products are used as ingredients: fish, sausages, olives, red caviar, cheese, various vegetables and fruits. Canapes on skewers on a festive table
We offer seafood lovers to cook shrimp canapes. This product is one of the most popular for making snacks. Shrimp is combined with other products, just do not add too many of them. It is important that they do not “clog” the taste of seafood, but supplement it.
Shrimp Sandwiches
Slices of the loaf should be slightly fried in a dry frying pan, and then cut small circles out of them (about 3 centimeters in diameter). We put on the skewer half of the olive, cut across. After that, shrimp with the tail, previously boiled, pierce in two places with a skewer and fix in an upright position on the loaf circle. We supplement the canapes as follows: squeeze a little cream cheese onto a loaf from a pastry bag and decorate with a sprig of dill. Shrimp and celery canapes
Try to make canapes on skewers according to a simple recipe. It turns out unpretentious, but it is very tasty. For him, we need only three ingredients: olives, celery and shrimp. First, prepare the celery: peel it and cut into 3 cm long cubes. Pierce one end of the shrimp with a skewer, then string a whole olive and shrimp again. After that, we fix everything on the basis of celery.
Multilayer canapes
A very elegant snack can be prepared on the festive table - canapes on skewers, consisting of several layers. It may seem difficult to do, but it is not. Everything is done quite simply, the main thing in this matter is accuracy. From white and black bread of rectangular shape we cut thin (4-5 mm) identical slices and grease them with cream cheese. First we put a piece of black bread and lay on it cucumbers, cut into thin strips, put white bread on top with the smeared side down. Lubricate the bread with cheese again and place lightly salted salmon or trout on it. We cover with bread, this time in black, coat with cheese and put pieces of yellow pepper. Then, covered on one side with a piece of white bread, close the sandwich. Cervelat Canapes
Canapes prepared in this way will be the perfect buffet snack at any reception where a large number of guests are expected. Cervelat in combination with the products included in the composition will give the appetizer a spicy peculiar taste. Take:
- cervelat - 12 slices;
- mayonnaise;
- cheese - 150 g;
- olives - 12 pcs.;
- grain bread - 4 slices;
- greens;
- molds "hearts" for canapes;
- skewers.
With special molds, we cut out hearts from bread slices. If there are no such shapes, then blanks of the desired shape can be cut using suitable cookie cutters. We cut the cheese in the same shape, 0.5 centimeter thick, according to the number of hearts made of bread. Put a drop of mayonnaise on the bread blanks and place the cheese slices on them, gently pressing them. We begin to collect the canapes on the skewer: we prick a slice of cervelat on one side of the skewer, stepping back 1.5 cm. Then we string the olive on it (across) and pierce the second part of the slice of cervelat. The result is something like a sail. We combine the design with bread and cheese. The remaining canapes are collected in the same way. When serving them on the table, the dish on which they will be placed can be decorated with lettuce.
Appetizer with cucumber and quail eggs.
We advise you to cook canapes on skewers with a very interesting appearance. Such a sandwich is decorated with red caviar. It is necessary to cook:
- quail eggs - 10 pcs.;
- caviar - 100 g;
- cucumber - 2 pcs.;
- curd cheese - 200 g.
Cooking
Cucumbers are cut into thick circles, then each of them is cut across. Boiled eggs are peeled and halved. On a half of each we put a small amount of cottage cheese. - hard gouda cheese (tilsiter) - 100 g.
The recipe is designed for 20 servings. Therefore, we will divide all products into twenty parts. We cut the cheese into small cubes (1.5 cm), cut off the ends of small cucumbers and divide into pieces no more than 2 centimeters long. Sweet pepper cut into squares 2 x 2 centimeters. We collect sandwiches in the following sequence: first, pieces of sausage, then cucumbers, peppers and cheese cubes. On a plate, put the cheese sandwiches down and immediately serve.
Cucumber Canapes
We cook homemade canapes on skewers, where the main ingredients are cottage cheese and cucumber. Such a sandwich is not only tasty, but also very healthy. The recipe will be indispensable even if guests unexpectedly come, so the appetizer is very quickly and simply prepared.
In order to cook mini sandwiches, you will need:
- fresh cucumber - 1 pc.;
- bread rolls - 4 pcs.;
- cottage cheese - 100 g;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- greens;
- salt.
Mix the curd with chopped garlic and herbs. Cucumbers cut into long thin plates. We divide the loaf into three parts, on each we spread a thick layer of cottage cheese with herbs. By the way, if the appetizer is prepared in advance, then a salad leaf should be put on the bread. On a skewer we string a wave of a slice of cucumber. We put in the bread and decorate with herbs.
Ham rolls appetizer
Consider another recipe, quite simple. Skewed canapes (in the photo below), prepared in this way, look unpretentious, but everyone will like it.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 80 g of ham;
- 5 slices of baguette;
- 3 tsp mayonnaise;
- ½ cucumber (small size);
- salt;
- greens.
For cooking, take a baguette (rye or wheat), cut it into slices and divide in half. Boil the egg, separate the yolk from the protein. Three yolk on a fine grater, and protein on medium. Add to it a little salt and ½ part of the total amount of mayonnaise. Cut the ham into very thin slices, the width equal to the width of a baguette slice.
On the edge of a piece of ham, put a little protein with mayonnaise and turn it into a roll. Dip it in two ends in mayonnaise and lower it into a finely grated yolk. Cut the cucumber into thin rings, put on a baguette, lay the roll on top, and parsley on it. We fasten everything with a skewer and immediately serve it on the table. Canapes are recommended to be consumed immediately after cooking, otherwise the baguette can get wet from the cucumber, and the beautiful fringe from the eggs can be weathered.
Sandwiches with mozzarella or feta cheese
We offer yet another simple recipe that does not require much effort to prepare canapes on skewers. We cut the cheese into even identical slices and soak for two hours in a mixture of olive oil, dried basil and red hot pepper. The bread cubes are slightly fried in butter and sprinkled with the mixture where the cheese was pickled. We begin to assemble the canapes: string a slice of bell pepper, then fried bread, a long slice of cucumber (rolled up in a zigzag pattern), cheese and cherry tomato. With the same ingredients, you can cook another type of canapes. For him, we do not pickle cheese and do not fry bread, and between cheese and cherry, we simply put a leaf of basil.

Boiled pork canapes
Slices of white or rye bread are slightly fried in butter. Bread, boiled pork and cheese are cut into small cubes, cucumber circles, pepper - a square. Cheese, better than hard varieties, is cut into cubes (about 1 cm). In the same way we cut marmalade, the best is multi-colored, bright shades. We offer you to cook bright, spectacular, with an unusual taste of canapes on skewers. On the festive table they have the place! They consist of a minimal set of products and prepare very quickly. We will need:
- ¼ part of the watermelon;
- 300 g of ricotta cheese;
- 2 bunches of fresh mint;
- ground pepper, to taste;
- skewers or toothpicks.
The flesh of the watermelon is cut into a medium cube and placed on a dish, spread mint leaves on top. Ricotta is cut into exactly the same cubes as a watermelon. We collect the "pyramid" in the following sequence: cheese, watermelon, mint. We fix all the “pyramids” with skewers and sprinkle with pepper. Serve chilled to the table.
Funny strawberry
Finally, we propose to cook the original strawberry canapes. A banana is cut into circles and sprinkled with lemon juice (so as not to darken). A leaf of mint is strung on a beautiful skewer, then a medium-sized strawberry and a circle of banana. It is the base of the canapes. On a red strawberry cream we draw smiling faces.
