Singer Biography
Not much is known about her life before the group. She was born in 1986 on February 1 in the Arkhangelsk region, in the small town of Velsk. In Arzamas, she graduated from high school and went to the Nizhny Novgorod School to study music.
Now the lead singer of Slot, Daria Stavrovich, lives in Moscow and combines the career of a rock singer with her studies at the Moscow Institute of Modern Art. There she studies at the faculty of pop-jazz and academic singing. Her curator is one of the best teachers of vocal singing in Russia, Ekaterina Belobrovaya.
On April 18, 2014, at the group's autograph session, a crazy fan attacked the girl. He inflicted several stab wounds in the neck of the girl, as a result of which the artery and trachea were affected. In critical condition, Daria was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Mariinsky hospital. The girl spent almost a month in the hospital. Due to a wound in the trachea, the lead singer of Slot was forced to undergo lengthy rehabilitation.
It turned out that this secret "Romeo" has long haunted Nuki on the net. At first, these were romantic letters, which eventually gave way to threats if she was not with him.
After the doctors said that nothing threatened her health, but some time was needed for rehabilitation, the Slot group confirmed that it would take part in all summer festivals, and the recital in St. Petersburg would be postponed until the fall.

From childhood, Daria was distinguished by her originality and uniqueness. But not only this influenced the fact that she became a member of the group. Daria is very hardworking and zealous, striving that everything she does is perfect. She got into the group through her friend Maxim Samosvatov, the former vocalist of the Epidemic group. He was familiar with the vocalist and creator of the Slot band, Igor Lobanov.
Slot Group
This alternative rock band was formed not so long ago, in 2002 at the initiative of Igor Lobanov. He is the ideological inspirer of the group, and songwriter and vocalist. But the group did not work very well with the vocalists, for several years they managed to change two girls, until after long auditions they chose Stavrovich. And from 2006 to this day, she is officially the vocalist of the Slot band.
Igor Lobanov created a group with Denis Khromykh and Sergey Bogolyubsky. A year after the creation, their first album was released, but he did not make the expected furor. Opinions were divided on it, but nevertheless, many noticed the huge potential of a young rock band.
Now the group has already seven studio albums, several soundtracks, 15 singles, a mini-album and a remix album. The group has two vocalists at once, which is their distinctive feature. In each song, their roles are distributed equally. Mostly the band plays hard rock and nu-metal, but some content in the scream and recitative makes their music look like rapcore and metalcore.
"Nookie"

In music circles, Daria Stavrovich is known under the pseudonym “Nookie”, which was invented by ID (Sergey Bogomolsky), the founder of the group “Slot”.
By the way around her nickname goes a lot of debate, what does it mean. Translated from English, it means sex without obligation, but according to another version, her stage name was inspired by listening to the song Limp Bizkit.
And the lead singer of Slot constantly confuses reporters and fans. She recently said in an interview that a nookie in Chinese means her name. In other sources you can find the definition that her nickname is a name, in fact, and does not have a translation. What was the reason for creating the pseudonym is actually up to you.
Creative activity
Surprisingly, in addition to participating in a group and studying at the institute, Daria Stavrovich still has a lot to do with.
So since 2014, the lead singer of the Slot group has been actively involved in the Forces United project, known throughout the world. In this contest, Stavrovich took part together with Yarkko Ahol, Konstantin Seleznev and Maxim Samosvatov.
From time to time, Nookie is invited to sing in various rock groups to increase his rating. She voices the games, starred in videos and movies, participates in all kinds of music competitions. So in 2014, the shooting of the film “School shooter” with the participation of Daria ended. In this film, she got a cameo role. In the same year, the clip “Reality” was filmed with her participation.
The soloist "Slot" is very famous in musical circles. She received the Golden Note prize at a competition organized by Igor Sandler's production center . Nuki won the nomination "Best Rock Vocalist of 2014", in the same year she was awarded the title of best performer of 2014. The singer was voted on the NewsMuz portal. Solo project
Four years ago, the lead singer of Slot took up a solo career. At the end of 2012, she launched her project called Nuki. In addition to her, her colleagues from the Dudu, ID, Slot groups take part in it. A year later, her first album, “Alive,” was released. Three songs from this album were filmed. Three years later, the light saw the moonlight pollen album, which became the second in her solo career. A clip was shot for the song “Illusion” from this album.
At the beginning of this year, the world heard her single “Dance, Clown, Dance.” In it, in addition to the song, with the name of the single, two more of the previous albums were recorded, “Alive” and “Ashes”, but in new versions.
The music she performs in a solo project is of a completely different style and is not similar to the one played by Slot.
Extremely bright appearance distinguishes the girl from the main crowd of music performers of this direction. The style of clothes and stage costumes fully correspond to the life priorities that the soloist of the Slot group adheres to. Photos, which depict Nuki, illustrate only her inherent style. It intertwines rock, echoes of punk and small notes of Gothic. That is why it is so unique.

To date, the Slot group has recorded six studio albums with Nuki's vocal performance. Including the album "Two Wars", previously recorded with Ulyana Elina. In addition to these albums, there is one more Kislot. First Blood ”, which consists entirely of remixes.
