Musical Comedy Theater (Krasnoyarsk) has existed since the mid-20th century. The repertoire consists of classical operettas, performances to the music of Soviet composers, vaudeville, contemporary musicals and so on. The theater has wonderful vocalists, ballet, orchestra, choir.
Theater History
The Musical Theater (Krasnoyarsk) was opened in February 1959. The first performance of the troupe was an operetta to the music of Isaac Dunaevsky's “Free Wind”. The actors who graduated from the Moscow, Lviv, Odessa and Kharkov Conservatoires were invited to the troupe. Quite quickly, the theater became loved by the audience. Over the years of its existence, the Krasnoyarsk Museum has staged over 200 performances on its stage. These are ballets, musicals, comic operas, musical comedies, vaudeville and operettas. The theater is famous throughout the country, its performances have repeatedly won in festivals and competitions.

Troupe
Musical Comedy Theater (Krasnoyarsk) is four creative workshops of artists: vocalists, ballet, choir and orchestra.
The vocal workshop represents 38 actors. Twelve of them carry the honorary title of Honored Artist of Russia. These are: Juvenal Efimov, Galina Kichka, Valentina Litvina, Alexander Alexandrov, Svetlana Kolyanova, Mikhail Mikhailov, Irina Boyko, Vladimir Rodin, Svetlana Kolevatova, Vladislav Pitalsky, Alexander Litvinov and Victor Savchenkov. The theater also has fourteen ballet dancers.
Casanova
The play “Casanova” was staged by the Musical Comedy Theater (Krasnoyarsk) in 2013. This is the new musical of the famous composer and producer Kim Breitburg. The play "Casanova" was a bright event in the life of the theater. The performance was a great success with the audience. The world-famous lover Casanova will win the hearts of all spectators with her love songs, and will tell the men the secrets of her success with the weaker sex. Everything is here: love, betrayal, spectacular battles, meetings, intrigues, partings, secrets, chases. The plot of the musical is original. So the world has not yet seen Casanova. In the play, he appears as a young thirty-year-old handsome, but a joker, a great romantic and a mysterious smoothie.

As mentioned above, the music for the production was written by Kim Breitburg. He is known to a wide audience as a producer of the television projects “The Secret to Success” and “People’s Artist”, and he is the author of more than six hundred famous pop songs that are included in the repertoire of artists such as Lyudmila Gurchenko, Larisa Dolina, Aleksey Chumakov and many others.
In addition, he wrote the musical “Blue Cameo”, the rock opera “The Word about Igor Campaign”, the suite “Once Upon a Time” and so on.
The libretto for the musical “Casanova” was written by Eugene Muravyov. This poet wrote lyrics for songs for famous Russian TV series, such as: “Doomed to become a star”, “Lily of the valley silver”, “Return of Mukhtar” and others. Songs on his verses are sung: L. Dolina, Lolita, A. Pugacheva, T. Povaliy, I. Allegrova, N. Baskov and others.

The Musical Theater (Krasnoyarsk) organized the project “With the whole family - to the theater”.
